It Would Be So Easy to Frame Someone
Hitchcoc1 January 2016
Because I am writing these things before seeing the entire series, I have no idea what the outcome is. I vaguely remember the case. The first half of the episode involves the malfeasance of the authorities in setting Steven Avery up for a crime he did not commit. It involves damning evidence against the Manitowoc police and even bad things at the state level. There is even legislation to benefit people who have served time unfairly. Just when the chickens come home to roost, a woman goes missing. She works for an auto trader magazine and has made an appointment to see him. He describes their encounter. Before long, a state investigator is brought in and a search is conducted. The buildings and homes of the Averie's are searched and investigated for eight days. Lo and behold, bones are found in a fire pit and keys with Steven's DNA are found right in his office. Also, there is a smear of blood on the dash of the car, very conveniently observable. I look forward to watching this all play out.

Deranged people

The extent of this witch-hunt and the extent to which the system is willing to break any moral and ethical codes to protect itself goes beyond any expectations of a rational human being. These people are psychopaths. Shocking... And this is only the second episode.

suspected felons convicted beforehand on false and planted evidence investigated by involved authorities

The easiest way of making a felony hard when you have a suspected indivual(s) is to find customized evidence that wil compromise the suspect and willingly forces to a conviction. An interesting and frightening series. The easiest way of making a felony hard when you have a suspected indivual(s) is to find customized evidence that wil compromise the suspect and willingly forces to a conviction. A CI should always have an open mind not a creative one. An interesting and frightening series. As I see it there should be found blood in the sleeping room of Steven Avery caused by the stabbing in the victims body and by cutting the throat. She was still alive afterwords. If an main artery was cut the blood would have pumped out of the throat by the heartrate. The first one more or less as a beam. The victim must have been dragged to the garage. If no main artery was cut over then the shooting of the body in the garage would have led to bloodspatter patterns which may give quite important evidence. No blood found in that garage would not have been realistic. My opinion about quilty or not, both suspect and now cons, not quilty. I cannot wait on the follow up.

Making a Murderer: Turning the Tables (2015)

The second episode has Steven Avery released from prison with his lawyers seeking to put those who convicted him on trial so that they can be found guilty of misconduct. This episode also follows Avery's rise as government officials try to get him some sort of compensation for his time behind bars. While all of this is going on however a woman goes missing and soon Avery is the lead suspect.

This second episode once again does a very good job at building up suspicion of the police behind the original 1985 rape case but of course a whole new mystery is thrown in with the murder and body that is found on Avery's property. Once again the documentary does an excellent job at laying out some evidence and keeping the viewer guessing at every turn how things are going to play out. Of course the documentary is aiming to show that Avery was once again the victim of a cover up.
