When The Cowboy (The Saint of Killers) attempts to mount his horse after being savagely beaten upon his return to Ratwater, you can briefly see Hex Livery in the background. Jonah Hex being a forefather to The Cowboy character: a supernatural cowboy with American West origins hell-bent on revenge.
In the opening Cowboy scene set in 1881, the bartender offers $100 for a brave's scalp, $50 for a squaw's, and $10 for a child's. Adjusted for inflation, those scalps would be worth $2200, $1100, and $220 respectively now. The $5 bottle of whiskey would cost $110.
