The Deep Freeze

Never seen an episode of this before but I quite enjoyed it, it wasn't something I have to absolutely watch more of, but as there are only 20 episode if I ever feel the urge I could watch them all in under a week without issue. The episode itself was interesting, I thought the best but was when the inspector chap just suddenly legged it, that was rather funny.

Mr Freeze

Warning: Spoilers
According to the BBC, the series isn't based on (or inspired by) the book The Coroner by M.R.Hall. Now that we've got that out of the way...I grew to like the Coroner as it progressed to series 2, and then the rug got pulled out by someone in TV authority so adios to series 3:( Not happy at all.

Oliver Gomm as Clint looks so much like David Spade's doppelganger big time. He doesn't get much screen time in this episode and maybe a spin-off can feature Clint where he becomes a barrister after going to law school at night unbeknownst to Jane and the rest of Lighthaven.

Anyway, the deceased, Robert Talbot, owned a fancy house overlooking the sea, demonstrating that white people do love seaside views.

Anyway, Jane's jealous because of the widow's attention to Davey. Turns out Christine, the widow, is a black widow with two previous husbands who died under mysterious circumstances.

Clint bought some weed from Robert's son, and Jane is furious.

Widow flushes Robert's ashes down the toilet, and that's callous.

At the end, Jane, Davey, Clint, Judith, Beth and Mick meet at the end at Mick's pub under gray skies to celebrate the end of a successful episode.

I Knew Who Did It In The First Few Scenes

It had to be the secretary because she was wearing the cross around her neck. We all know the movie industry loves to portray Christians as murderers. Never see the Muslim as the one who did it.
