Warning: Spoilers
No other show this season has had me as gripped as Quantico. From its Pilot it has hardly put a foot wrong (apart from Alex sleeping with 3 different guys within 20 weeks despite being in love with Ryan but anyway ....). There haven't been as many shocking twists gracing my screen ever since Nikita finished.

Part of me fell for TPTB's plan to suspect everyone at one point or another but I honestly thought by the last episode that it was Drew. The final twist blew my mind.

I love that this episode opened showing us Liam's POV of the NAT's time at Quantico and how he gathered all the intel in order to set them up. One of the series's strengths is the way it went back and forth from real time to the time at Quantico. I'm going to presume that that can't happen in Season 2 so I'm definitely going to miss that.

Great to see the awesome gang working together again for a common cause right back where it all started. Caleb/Shelby and Ryan/Alex <3.

Simon really stole the show though. He snuck his way into my heart and his final scene? Wow.

Knowing this show though I kept thinking he was going to be revealed as still being alive and that Alex would find clues to this at the end of the episode. I can still keep that hope alive though right? Alex joining the CIA seems a logical place for the show to go now and whilst I'm sure it will break Ryan's heart I'm sure she will get through anything that the agency throws at her in the future with a little help from her friends.

Warning: Spoilers
The previous episode revealed the culprit. This episode starts with how Liam did it with a quick recap of what he has been up to these past few months. Liam meets with Miranda about a job at Quantico, he places hidden bugs in the trainees room and monitors their every activity. Liam blackmailed Elias into drugging Alex before the Grand Central blast and then placed her in the rubble. All without getting noticed.

Now Liam is placing the blame on Miranda and making her the suspect because she was always passed over for promotion. However Simon and Shelby go over Miranda's time-line which raises more questions as her activities does not match up with the Voice calls. When Liam suddenly cannot be located the recruits become suspicious of him.

In fact the reveal really does seem inspired by the film The Recruit although when cornered Liam explains his motives because he believed the FBI and its superiors to have done questionable things.

What is not explained as to why Alex was chosen as a scapegoat when Liam mentions that Alex's dad was also unhappy with a previous mission they both did together? Also why did his elaborate scheme had to rope in the FBI recruits, surely Liam could had done this all easier?

Simon saves the day and meets a heroic end, the final minutes sets up things for season 2 with the involvement of the CIA.

The series has been an enjoyable piece of hokum, probably the first series from the USA to be truly multicultural with a female lead that is of Indian origin. Like the first season of 24, you can guess that the writers will have to perform an acrobatic feat to explain who the bad guy is and their motives. I felt it was always likely to be either Liam or Miranda.

A farce Warning: Spoilers
That's what I thought of the season finale. Seriously? Driving off a bridge seconds before a nuke goes off? If it is true that a nuke in 100 feet of water does little damage, with about 15 seconds left on the timer there is no way the SUV would sink that deep in so short a time, even with the window down. Add to that the fact that Simon was doing at least 60 when he made that sharp turn on the bridge. At that speed centrifugal force would have caused the car to capsize and roll.

The entire first season has been nothing but a 'B' grade soap opera with violence mixed in to keep viewers interested. The entertainment value was okay, but the plot and acting were really poor.
