Booooring

It's quite simple to review this show: Boring

There is no much more you can say about it. The stories are boring, without any kind of interest, you don't connect with actors, etc. I was hoping for some "twilight zone" kind of show, but it's the opposite, there is nothing here to captivate you, just plain regular boring stories with endings that make you think "25 minutes for this???" Do you know when you are in the subway, going to your office and you hear a couple of persons next to you talking about small talks, or stories that you are not interested in? That conversations are way more interesting than this show.

Save your time and don't watch it, doesn't worth any minute.

Beautiful? Somehow?

I'm somewhat familiar with Neil Gaiman, his stories lead you somewhere that makes you ever-so uncomfortable but incredibly intrigued. I have listened to some of his poetry and short stories, i've just started reading his books so his style of storytelling is something you need experience with otherwise you end up describing as 'boring'. Its nuanced, its subtle, and its beautiful. I had to put down my computer while watching this in order to pay it more attention; it demands it. Everything seemed so perfectly placed. He is a master at world weaving. The atmosphere reminded me of Pan's Labyrinth, please watch it. This was my first review. I apologise

I stumbled across this show on Now TV one evening and while I'm very familiar with Gaiman's work after a few episodes I realized he is the creator behind this drama series. Upon viewing the first episode it was apparent there's a very arty symbolic nature to his work (similar to Coraline) and I was absorbed quite instantly. The stories all feel bite sized and not too drawn out, they have such a wonderful simplicity whilst maintaining an air of mystery and dread within them. The dialogue and scenarios feel very familiar which really puts you into the show, as such conversations you can come across people talking about in your local cafe/bar, but with a heightened uncomfortable undertone in each episode. I look forward to re-watching this show and wish Gaiman would create a second series- if you're a fan of black mirror I am pretty sure you'll want to check this out.

Lovely, simple and terrifying

These are relatively short, but really charming and creepy adaptations. I hope it gets renewed, as I greatly enjoyed them. Watching them felt truly like reading a story, as they are slow but you are gradually drawn in. The production quality and acting are stellar.

Gorgeous lavish production with gripping stories

Stellar stuff, it instantly drew me in, I love the creepy actor driven plots, so deceptively simple yet intriguing, very nicely directed and lit, and I love that you draw your own conclusions, it's not explicitly explained with diagrams and Morgan Freeman.

Also I adore the sound, it's atmospheric, musical, beautiful and lavish, with fantastic use of surround sound.

As a whole package I really can't recommend it highly enough.
