Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with a crying Agnes, Liz her funeral is today Cooper speaks some nice words in his speech for her. Red visits Dom, Liz her grandfather he says that his granddaughter died. Stalder almost got ubducted by Nez Rowan but Samar stopped this. Red says to Aram that he isn't coming back to the task force. Tom goes ib a adventure and took a picture of Susan Hargrave together with Panabaker. Solid episode of The Blacklist Season 3, this show is very constant and always a 7/8+. James Spader is so good in this role that he seems like a real criminal himself.

Like watching two shows simultaneously
Sibiriak_com31 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
If I could I would give it two different ratings. 10 for the story and 2 for the action scenes. I don't know the productions methods in TV industry but I assume it's not written to a letter. To choreograph action scenes you have to know locations first. And if there is someone who works specifically for that purpose, I'm sorry, dude or dudess, it's crap sometimes. Maybe there is not enough time so they have to think on their feet. So as an example in this episode in the scene of the fight between the merc woman and Navabi at the 18th minute something unexplainable happens. The victim is almost falling down the stairs and Navabi catches him which is great, but then she holds him as if he's hanging down a cliff. But he's almost sitting on the stairs. It's like this moment from the Office when Michael Scott drove the rental car into the lake and they panicked so strongly they were trying to get out of the water just knee deep but so dramatically so as if they were in a storm in the middle of the ocean.

Brian Dennehy as 'Dom' and James Spader - interplay was truly magnificent

Utterly compelling scenes in "The Blacklist: The Artax Network (No. 41) - worthy of an Emmy or BAFTA, if it were over here, between the ever brilliant Brian Dennehy as 'Dom' and the stunningly good James Spader - this is demonstrably superb acting craft, masterful. Such a fine TV epic saga. An addictive serial whose story arc has grown wonderfully. The plot twists and turns without becoming predictable., I hope this continues.

Incredible episode, yet mixed feelings
foamythefearsome12 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Let me start off by saying that it is a great and powerful episode. It is very unlike the rest of the series, but that makes sense given the circumstances, and I actually think it is brilliantly in like with the change the characters in the show are going through, which is an impressive feat in storytelling and writing.

It also introduces a new key player in the mystery of Reddington's past, and a great one at that: the interaction between Dom and Red in this episode is spine-chilling.

I know I already tagged this as a spoiler, but I want to stress that you should not read any further than this this if you have not yet seen the rest of the series as it will spoil more than just the episode plot.

Despite the above, this episode - and actually the rest of this season - has left me with mixed feelings. The reason for that is that I saw some episodes out of order: before I started watching the entire series, I had seen some loose episodes from seasons 2, 3 and 4, and the more I saw, the more I wanted to know what the overhead story was about, inspiring me to start from scratch. In this particular case, it means that I already knew Liz was coming back even though she alledgedly died two episodes ago. It resulted in me being more focused on what the angle was they played here than on the actual episodes. Especially on my first watch (currently rewatching the series), I recall all I was thinking most of this (and the next few episodes) was "okay but when is she coming back?"; "They're all crying but she isn't really dead". For some reason, it did not have this feel so much the second time I watched it, and I was actually struck quite emotionally throughout it.

All in all it was a great episode, and I regret not seeing this in sequence the first time around.

Rising from the Ooze
Hitchcoc17 November 2022
Red goes to visit Liz''s grandfather, played by Brian Dennihy. The acting here is superb as Red's malaise has taken over his being. How much blame can be cast on him is an issue at all times. What happened to Liz's mother continues to be an issue. When Tom is not diapering the new baby, he goes under the radar and takes photographs. There appears to be even more stuff going on at the top. Aram knows that without Red, they will never find the guys who did the murders, so he begs him to return to the game. Aram realizes that much of what is going on involves the use of dormant satellites. They need to pinpoint the control center.
