This episode involved magicians. Why didn't the plot have some interesting twists and turns based on trickery. I agree. Magic is not real. What we have is illusion and the ability to fool people. That's just as much fun because in our minds we try to figure out how things are done. But instead we have a plot about distrust. The other thing is something that often grates on me about this series. It's Brennan's pettiness. The thing with the tooth fairy, for instance. What is wrong with the belief of a little child. Brennan's wanting to explain the function of a tooth with all her physiological stuff would simply be boring. She has absolutely no imagination except for the most mundane details.

Not so memorable

I didn't really feel anything towards the case this week. I mean the magic aspect is cool but I feel like it didn't really go anywhere so it was a tad disappointing.
The B plot was all about whether to give Christine money for losing her tooth. Brennan thinks that it's deceiving. I think that you might as well let your child live with this ignorance and innocence for as long as possible. Like how sad would it be if Christine grew up and was like oh yeah my parents told me that the tooth fairy isn't real, like let the kid get a dollar for losing the tooth.
It was fun watching Clark do his magic tricks. Hodgins comment "oh look you made Dr. B disappear" was really funny to me.
Speaking of Clark, why is he working the case this week? Don't get me wrong, I love Clark and I'm glad he's in the episode but usually they give a little excuse like "oh we had no available interns." For this episode I didn't catch a reason he was just there.
Overall, there's nothing too memorable about this episode.
Best part: "I don't want to teach out daughter that it is okay for strangers to break into her room and steal body parts" - Brennan, I found this comment really amusing
Worst part: I finished this episode like 5 minutes ago and I barely remember who the killer was, why he killed, and how he killed.
