  Chief Ray Riddle : Well, I think you know that I'm referring to this specific event, this wedding.

  Kelly Severide : If I thought it would help people? I'd support it, sure.

  Chief Ray Riddle : Mm-hmm.

  Kelly Severide : And I do.

  Chief Ray Riddle : I think we'll let Severide stay right where he is for a while. We'll reassess down the road.

  Wallace Boden : Kelly.

  Chief Ray Riddle : You don't think I already have?

  Kelly Severide : If he didn't give me a positive review, then he's full of it.

  Dallas Patterson : Severide, I'm happy to discuss this with you later.

  Kelly Severide : I'm not talking to you!

  Wallace Boden : Kelly, that's enough.

  Chief Ray Riddle : You know, it's no surprise to me that your people-- Dawson, Severide-- thumb their nose at authority and backtalk their superior officers. I know exactly where they learned that behavior.

  Wallace Boden : Riddle, you got a problem with me, don't take it out on my men. The wedding was my call, and I am happy to bring this discussion up before the Commissioner because he is not retired as yet.

  Chief Ray Riddle : All right. You do whatever you think's best regarding this wedding, Chief. And as for you, we will review down the road.
