I was fortunate enough to see True Conviction at the Traverse City Film Festival, and I am very glad I did. From beginning to end I was held captive by this amazing story of three men who were exonerated for the crimes that had kept them in prison for a combined total of 60 years and now dedicate their lives to getting individuals in similar situations free from their sentences. . The director and camera man spent 5 years following the men, in the process capturing some amazing footage and producing a final cut that will/should elicit an emotional response from nearly everyone who sees it.

Heartbreaking but hopeful

This is such an inspiring, gripping programme. I don't think I've seen any documentary that has made me so angry, sad, dubious, inspired, hopeful and elated all in such a small space of time. I URGE everyone to watch it. It's simply amazing and so are the men in the film who have dedicated their time and money to helping the people who have been wrongly convicted. Not an easy job when they first have to be sure that these people are telling the truth. Gripping. I defy you not to sob at least once.
