Good acting

I thought it was good acting ... quality set up with the exception of one time the camera was shaky (in the apartment scene). I felt the storyline to an extent but I think he was too forgiving of the situation I mean come on that is a bit extreme the brother fathering the child. The mom was annoying with the praising the wife I mean that broad knew and said nothing and making her son be so forgiving of a hurtful situation like that like really mama. But it was entertaining.

This is all over the place. When it comes to morals and morality ... well, I don't know who you think you are supposed to root for. There are so many things going wrong. And yes we have a main character - and yes main characters can and should be flawed. But to what degree? What can we allow them to get away with? Is it enough to root for them, when it turns out things are stacking up against them? While it would be wrong to talk about Karma, some might not find it completely undeserving.

That being said, the story is full of cliches and there is some steamy stuff going on ... not sure it'll be enough to get you hot and bothered ... pun intended.

Acting wise it sort of works mostly, but there is some over the top stuff in there ... not to mention the whole soap opera things you have to endure. If you suspend your disbelieve and somehow are able to get behind it all .. there is some excitement and suspense waiting for you ... with a twist or two along the way ... not that they are too surprising ...

Nothing Special

I thought some of the acting was ok for a grade movie but all in all the movie just plodded along not really reaching any great heights. Married man, married too young and can't keep 'it' in his pants. The lead male actor was like a poor man's Denzel Washington.

This movie was a hodgepodge of different stories, from infidelity, workplace sabotage, and dysfunctional families.

Someone should explain to the writers that blood type is not the same as DNA. Apparently the hospital has an ICU but no blood in storage because all family members were tested on the spot. Just so dumb.

Lead actress cries a lot but never sheds a tear.

Husband was a piece of s**t.

Soundtrack was good.

Confusing

This movie made entirely no sense. First, let me admit that I missed a good amount of it. I jumped in on the hospital scene. During this scene the child's parents are being tested to see who would be the best blood match for the child. After being tested the doctor states that the "father's" blood type matched the son's, with both of them being O+ but the father states that he is AB- (or something like that) so he can't be the boy's father. How did the doctor's get O+ for him? This part just makes no sense. Thn, it's revealed that his brother is the boy's father and his wife met his brother and got pregnant by the brother before she met and married him. So if that happened before she met and married him how did he think the boy was his? Unless he met her and had sex with her within at least a month of her being with his brother, and in all that time between dating and getting married she never once saw his brother or a pic of him? This is all just implausible.

Everything from the dialogue to the narration to the character names is amateurish. It plays like a cheap romance novel. I do think that the actors involved would do better if the dialogue and direction were better, but this movie is simply terrible. It does seem well funded, so the production value is pretty high. It looks pretty good though I'm not a fan of the messy, shaky camera work. Movies like this do not need a hand held camera look. It doesn't add drama; it just looks...amateurish. I wanted this to be a hidden gem, but it's basically a bad made-for-TV movie with shoe-horned profanity in it. Even the extensive use of the F-word feels phony. Amazing.

I know I am late, but this movie was amazing. It was not your predictable African American film. A list stars and the music was poppin. So proud of you Mal, God bless you and keep them coming.

I thought this movie was decent. I really wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The acting was decent, the videography was good (except the apt scene), a little to "left field" with the hospital scene. I would definitely watch it again.

I like movies that make you think of life choices; the hurt, forgiveness and reality of it; it was more than the drama. I enjoyed watching this movie; it was something I can appreciate and I hope the writer continues to create more movies!

Great movie. Very good story line and plot. In my opinion it conveys a positive message by exploring negative vices in relationships. The soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥! When I thought about it again, I had to change my rating from 9 to 10! Well done!

Great acting and plot. Came across this movie on Prime and thought you give it a try. So glad I did. I was hoping there would be a Secrets 2 with what was revealed at the end, lol... but nice movie and soundtrack nice as well.
