One of the finest episode of South park.

Warning: Spoilers
Reality is a personification of reality itself, appearing as a stereotypical cartoon villain, and is often a villain in the eyes of some people who are not able or willing to confront the reality around them by being obsessed with their own safe space or comfort zones instead. I hope reality returns in upcoming episodes.

It's like a fine wine

Only getting better with age.

This episode is in competition for being one the best ever to me. On re-watch i enjoy it more and more every time. That doesn't happen to me with re-watching other great eps like the fish d*cks one.

I love south park so much. More effective than all the antidepressants combined. Who needs zoloft when you have scott tennerman.

Gets better each time

Warning: Spoilers
I agree with the other reviewer that this (and other) episode gets better with time. Heck, I'd say the whole show does. It all depends on how you watch the show. Do you just expect jokes like in Family Guy? Or do you like the subtleties? I for one enjoy the less "funny" episodes too, because as I grow older, I notice many of those things more and more. And this episode, making fun of the PCness and of our generation (but previous ones too, like Mr. Seagal) avoiding responsibility for their own actions (Cartman, Steven, Vin) or being pushed into it (Randy at WholeFoods) is just really funny and great social commentary.

And heck, take the scene with Steven Seagal, basically being a second Cartman (all that's missing is him calling out "Meee-ammm") or the great one about "taking the sandwich out of the starving girls mouth" are clever and funny. It's not surprising though that nobody learns anything (kind of like in the "Smug" episode) and people just continue on their ways. It shows how South Park has evolved from "I learned something today" to "I learned nothing cause I am selfish". Southpark thereby represents the way our society has changed over the last 2 decades.

The exact conservatism it used to parody

I used to like 'South Park'. Even when it was cheesy or stupid, it mocked politicians and celebrities if they did something wrong. That's what satire is about.

This series (and this episode in particular) attacks the underprivileged. While also taking a slight dig at a few minor celebrities, the 'joke' is that women and the overweight shouldn't be allowed any sense of safety in their personal lives.

The writers have deteriorated in quality from biting satirists to now just being boring trolls hoping to bag the Teabagger brigade, whilst simultaneously claiming that the 'politically correct' world is out to get them.

There was some humour and satire at the beginning and the end, but it's quickly lost. By claiming that anyone who is against bullying is against reality, the show appears to recruit the worst fan-boys, and doubtless any complaints or criticism will be dismissed as 'political correctness gone mad' or 'just a prank, bro'.

Either way, what was once funny has turned into a conservative whine fest.

Well I don't know if in 21 century the weight is the most important reason for bullying. But take actor who became Russian just to pay less taxes is disgrace...
