With a few weeks left to go until the release of Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, DC All Access has really been spoiling us as of late with videos pertaining to the next addition to DC’s stellar line of animated films. Just days ago, they spoke with Kari Wahlgren in order to gain some insight into her character of Starfire and, now, it’s director Sam Liu’s turn to talk.
In a chat with Whitney Moore, the fan favorite filmmaker reaffirmed that this adaptation of the beloved comic book written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by George Perez is faithful to the source material, as everyone has been doing when given the chance. But with any project such as this, certain details may have to be streamlined for mainstream audiences or, perhaps, due to the constraints that come with having to shoot for a specific running time (these...

I’m secure in saying that I’m probably not the only one who thinks the wait between DC animated movies feels like an eternity, even if they’re only mere months apart. With but a few weeks to go until the release of Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, the folks at DC All Access have thankfully tided us over with a new clip and other goodies.
Although said footage treads very far from spoiler territory, it’s pretty cool to see some fresh content nonetheless, especially when you factor in that it involves Starfire. Up until Justice League vs. Teen Titans, she was a character that was really only hinted at in other related films, so it’s nice to see a version of her that’s more mature than what you’d find on a series airing on Cartoon Network be explored.

Those who aren’t familiar with anything but the cute Teen Titans series are in for quite a surprise as the heroes return to their darker roots in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, which is one of the most incredible efforts from the comics. The Blu-Ray Giftset, which includes an exclusive Blue Beetle figurine, will hit on April 18th, with Digital HD release on April 4th.
In The Judas Contract, the Titans – Beast Boy, Raven, Blue Beetle, Robin, and Nightwing – are led by Starfire, but their newest teammate, Terra, is throwing the groups dynamic out of whack, and the team comes up against Brother Blood, an ancient evil, and Deathstroke is waiting in the wings to cause problems as well.

With the release of Justice League Dark now being behind us, it’s time that we look forward to the next DC animated film to be released by Warner Home Video, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Originally slated to arrive in 2008, this loose adaptation of the popular comic written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by George Perez has finally become a reality and is set to arrive via Digital HD on April 4, with Blu-ray and DVD releases following on April 18, which, to be quite honest, falls within the period we predicted.

If you enjoyed last year's Justice League Vs. Teen Titans, you're gonna want to check out this first trailer for DC Animation's Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. The film is based on the New Teen Titans story arc by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
The story centers on the young psychopath Tara Markov, who is seduced and trained by Deathstroke to infiltrate the Teen Titans and tear them apart from within. Here's a brief story description:
Deathstroke the Terminator has a long held grudge against the Titans relating to the death of his son Grant Wilson the original Ravager. In order to fulfill this grudge he seduces a 15 year old with the extraordinary ability to command the very earth to her will.
This is definitely one of the more shocking Teen Titan storylines. If you've read it, then you know how it all ends, but I won't spoil it here for anyone that doesn't know.

One of DC Animation's most highly anticipated titles in 2017 is Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, and now the first trailer for the movie has found its way online. Based on the popular New Teen Titans storyline by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, the feature length adaptation looks pretty cool, and it's pretty clear that it follows the comic book as Deathstroke takes aim at each of the young heroes. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will serve as something of a follow-up to last year’s Justice League vs. Teen Titans. The comic introduced the perhaps not-to-be-trusted Terra to the Teen Titans and was the storyline in which Dick Grayson first adopted the identity of Nightwing. One of the most popular comic book storylines of its year, it's continually ranked among the greatest Teen Titans stories ever told. What do you guys think of this first trailer for the movie? This past weekend at WonderCon, Warner Bros. premiered their latest DC animated film, Justice League Vs. Teen Titans. Although it’s not as good as some of their previous animated movies, it’s still pretty good and a lot of fun to watch. You can read our review of it here.
Three action packed clips for the series have been released, and the first features the Teen Titans doing a little training. The characters that you get to see in action in the clip include Blue Beetle, Raven, and Beast Boy, who we learn sleeps in the nude. The second clip is the first part of the film where the Justice league are in a battle with the Legion of Doom. The third is a continuation of that battle in which they face off with the terrifying power of Trigon.

Justice League Vs. Teen Titans is Warner Brothers' other versus film coming out this March. During last weekend's WonderCon I had a chance to see an advanced screening of the animated movie that's in the same cineverse as films like Son of Batman and Justice League: War.
If you've seen those previous films then your expectations should be perfectly dialed in for what the tone, quality of animation, and voice acting will be like. That said, Justice League Vs. Teen Titans feels pretty safe in terms of story. While solidly told, it's not mind blowing for a team "origin" story. The story is so simple giving a summary would give away too much (so sorry for the short review).
The Teen Titans comprise Raven, Blue Beetle, and Beast Boy. They're appropriately awkward and overpowered, which keeps their showdown with members of The Justice League from ending quickly. Starfire is the...
