Chief Bailey's first day as chief; a day all Bailey fans have been waiting for since the very first episode of Grey's Anatomy and boy did they get their money's worth. The reason it was so pleasing was because she failed at first. Chief Bailey could not live up to expectations at first. She had too much ambition and although she had good intentions she strived for the impossible. But when Bailey sees that and learns from it, the reward as a viewer is much more satisfying than if she was just a great chief right off the bat. We love to see our characters grow, we love to be there for their journey and Bailey's has just begun. Arizona and Callie finally talk. They actually have a conversation by choice this time. Since the blow of their divorce lessened, we've gotten almost nothing from them other than pleasantries and necessities. I think Calzona fans deserve more before all hope for their rekindling is truly lost, and this is the start of more. Amelia and Owen's relationship is moving at just the right pace it needs to be. Any faster and it would not be fair to Crown fans, any slower and it would not be fair to Omelia fans. Meredith Grey also got some well deserved rewards this episode. Chief of General Surgery; Ellis Grey would be proud. Despite all that goodness, there were still mediocre parts of the episode. The Arizona- April friendship hasn't gotten its justice yet; their interaction has been very limited and you can blame the continuously expanding cast for that. This episode I thought we would see more since April was trapped in the bubble and Arizona promised to come back to keep her company, but unfortunately that was their last scene. They are each other's only good friend yet their screen time has been so limited ever since the start of their friendship. Jackson and April's struggle with their marriage had the potential to go much farther with a glass wall separating them. After a whole episode of April's complaining we finally got the consensus that April wants to work on their marriage while Jackson is on the fence about it. Well duh! We could already tell without the temporary resolve of their communication problem.

Bailey's First Day as Chief

This Episode begins with Meredith, she gives the interns a brain lesson at the hospital. It is Bailey her first day as Chief of Surgery at the hospital, she is really nervous. April has rash on her back, she got sick in the middle east. Jade has a tumor in her brain, she needs surgery otherwise she will grow further. Jade fell on Jo. Jade has been brought to the OR. Bailey tells Richard that she is not the right person for the job as Chief of Surgery. Amelia removed Jade her entire tumor. Baiey wants to make Meredith the Chief of General Surgery. Meredith wants to be the new Chief of General Surgery. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 12, an Episode with not that much events. Bailey started as the new chief, she had a rough start!
