Horrible.

Warning: Spoilers
If you are into over the hill sub-average women flashing breasts, you might enjoy this crappy documentary.

If you actually learn something new and interesting watching this, you just might be the first person ever to pull that off. Entire thing is loaded with boring, monotone voices from people who look like they are out of work, desperate, and mostly past prime, actors.

If you ran add on Craigslist, for free, and asked for people to come be part of your documentary, for free, you could still get better selection than this.

It is not going to teach you anything you couldn't read in a badly written article on sexting, it is not going to show you better breasts than any amateur cam girl site will for free, I cannot find a single reason for anyone to watch this at all.

Trash

A documentary about one of the activities that brain-dead people involve themselves into.

The topic on hand can be described as one of those 'first world problems'. And while I can understand other stupid problems coming from too much wealth (like bulimia for example), I just can't see the concept of sending your nude photos viable or justified in any shape or form.

Imaginary problem, terrible form, boring interviewees, and face-palm 'experts' in a form of disgusting, half-synthetic female porn performers past their prime.

Awful, worthless waste of time.

Stock photos were the best part, seriously

Complete reach for content during some of the segments, other ones were fine but dragged for too long. Just absolutely abysmal, the most scatterbrained and inconsistent documentary I've seen to date.

Very relevant Documentary!!!

After enjoying this documentary I came to IMDb to post a review. I read a couple of other reviews that seem to miss the point of this documentary.

I think they might have been fooled by the sexy poster. This documentary covers it's topic very well. It shows interesting points of view to a subject that is extremely relevant today.

It has a lot of humor that shows how crazy and ridiculous people will go doing it. On the flip side it also shows the dangerous side of the topic. I also feel the interviews are credible and varied.

If you're seeking soft core porn, this is not that. Good job

What Is The Big Deal?
MasterMetric10 December 2019
Ok, people just as the video stated, sexting is as old as the first human drawings, Get Over It... If more people were nudist, the whole deal, would be a non-issue, every one has similar body parts, whoopy deal...the subject of this documentary will not be the last, the more people talk about the better...take a look at the first reviewer, this person is making the nude body a dirty, disgusting, filthy object in their mind and spreading their corrupt ideas to others. They are the dirty ones.... I am a nudist and will not take any such pictures myself but if in a group... maybe... At any rate watch this documentary, and listen to others on the subject...and get NAKED...

Great Documentary!!!

After watching this film I felt like i had a better understanding of the world of sex-ting. The film makers here were creative in the way the structured the film. Breaking up the movie in sections help give a complete overview of the subject. My favorite parts were the Pic section and the Emoji section. I couldn't stop laughing. The consequence section was eye opening and really showed how sex-ting can be dangerous. The people who were interviewed seemed insightful and interesting. Some of the facts blew me away. I thought the comedians we fantastic too. Overall, the movie kept my attention and entertained me. I Enjoyed this one tremendously.

Addicted to Sexting (2015)

** (out of 4)

This documentary, which you can currently watch on Netflix, tries to show the great times of sexting as well as the darker times. We start off hearing from a variety of people on why they like to sext and then we get the history of the subject and we learn how technology has changed the game as far as sending dirty pictures go.

ADDICTED TO SEXTING is an okay documentary. It's certainly not great but at the same time it's not quite as awful as some make it out to be. I think the biggest problem I had with the film is the fact that so many of the people interviewed were just downright annoying and it really wasn't any fun listening to them. We hear from average people who just like to send and receive nude pictures and we also hear from more professional types of women who get followers and then send the pictures.

We hear about certain apps like Tinder and Snapchat and of course the subject of women having guys send dick pics are also covered. The documentary really tries to show how wonderful sexting is but the final seven-minutes are devoted to the darker elements including stalkers and revenge porn.

Again, nothing here is too bad but at the same time this just comes across as cheap and there's really nothing here than the most normal folks won't already know about.

A selection of talking heads based on ignorance
ersbel15 August 2017
The producers seem to have had a sole goal when making this documentary: choose the most ignorant and let them ramble. So you have smart affirmations like the sending of sex related messages "is as old as writing". Oh! Like going to the market to find a slave scribe to pay to write some personal message that the learned man of the village will read aloud to your spouse and entire family. Right. Yet that was the only way of sending written messages for thousands of years.

And addicted? There is nothing relevant about addiction.

What is the point to make a documentary about something you establish from the beginning that is nothing special?
