I've recently started watching Superstore and whilst I missed out on Magazine Profile and Shots and Salsa, I'm glad I didn't miss out on Mannequin. The opening scene really crossed the political, cultural and socio-economic gamit, and was quite prescient in light of the Supreme Court decision in 2020 that would have got the Cloud 9 staff in a flutter.
The Jonah mannequin lookalike plotline was hilarious, and I kind of expected Garrett to quip, "You know, the mannequin kinda resembles that actor from Happy Days..." That punchline alone would have brought the Superstore down.
Superstore is definitely worth watching.
