- a female mouse is shown briefly nude in the beginning as she showers, and puts on a bra & panties. later, in a flashback sequence, she is very briefly shown attempting to make love to birdboy, but not much is shown. also the two skinny dipping, as the outlines of her breasts are shown for a second.
Violence & Gore

- Lots of bloody animated violence.
- Characters are killed in graphic ways, including burning, shooting, blunt force trauma and blood loss. Lots of disturbing imagery.
Profanity

- "S***" and "hell" are used. one use of "F**k it."
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Characters use drugs.
- Birdboy is smoking all the time and also dinky is smoking too.
- Heavy drug use of all kinds, under aged characters use drugs and smoke, families use antidepressants to stay a happy family. The drug use is NOT glorified or encouraged. The drugs serve as a means to tell the story, and has such is handled maturely in the film. Still very severe.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Even though this movie has cute animated characters it is not meant for children.
- The whole film has a bleak and dark tone, some scenes are genuinely overwhelming and the older you are the more disturbing the film is. Though this film isn't a suffer flick there is light at the end of the tunnel, and this film does show it.
- The film contains strong animated violence, sexual references (easy to miss for younger audiences), and heavy drug use. The film is presented as a very mature film covering heavy subject matter. This film is intended for mature audiences, though some kids in their late teens should be able to digest this film.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- A young child, around 9 or 10, is killed by a violent blow to the head. The impact isn't shown but you see their bloody corpse.
- The son of the mouse father begins to strangle the son of the other mouse father. The other son picks up a metallic alarm clock and bludgeons him with it.
- Character's head is smashed using an alarm clock.
- Two fathers fight each other using metal pipes, resulting in bloody gashes across the face and head. One of the fathers eventually kills the other off-camera, but you see the body of the other father with his mouth and head graphically crushed.
- A copper pipe is brought down on a mouse's forehead, which graphically cracks open its skull and slices open a part of its brain.
- Zachariah kills the spider living inside of his mother using a broom, which kills his mother as well.
- During a flashback sequence, it is revealed that Birdboy's father Birdman was shot through the head by a police officer. He then violently convulses and bleeds to death.
- In a hallucination, a vine bursts from Birdboy's stomach and grows into a tree. Two demonic birds then proceed to eat his intestines and tear open his stomach.
- Birdboy burns dozens of the Forgotten Children alive using his fire breath.
- Birdboy is struck in the back by a bullet fired by a young cop while flying. The bullet pierces his heart and causes him to fall, killing him.
- An antagonist is graphically torn in half at the waist. Lots of gore.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Birdboy's corpse discovery is very unsettling.
