Humor like I like it.

Third show from Tom Segura that I watched this week. This might not been the best one of the three that I saw but it still remains funny. His shows fly by, you don't get bored at all. He laughs at almost everything, including himself, and that's the way it should be. I like sarcastic humor, and also humor where you don't spare yourself. When he laughs at himself it's mostly about being fat, even though I don't think he's really fat, but at least he's not ashamed of making fun of himself. There are always a couple racial jokes in his shows and honestly if you can't laugh with that you don't have a good sense of humor. Even people from that particular race laughs at his jokes so being offended by that is just because you lack a sense of humor. Stand-up comedy isn't easy, but Tom Segura always manages it with his particular mimics and jokes.

Anything Tom Segura is guaranteed to make you laugh

Tom Segura is my comfort stand-up. I often have him play in the background while in my pjs - either when waking up and making coffee or when getting ready to go to bed.

"Mostly Stories" is reliably funny. After listening to it many times it still makes me laugh.

The writing and the performance are solid. Funny mostly stories. Nothing paradigm-shifting - although Segura *does* push the audience into the uncomfortable(but he's so likable and skilled, Tom has no problem getting away with it).

This is not the best Tom Segura special but it's a good option if you want to watch something funny and easily digestible.

I laughed all the way through

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched four comedy specials by Tom Segura and give him 9.5 on the 2014, 2016 and 2018 specials. The 2020 special was a little disappointing. But I have a question for anyone. At around 18:42 of the 2016 special, Tom uses a voice that I've heard before, but can't place. I'm not at all sure whether or not Tom is intentionally imitating someone or if he just came up with a voice that sounds like another voice I've heard. I'd say I first heard THIS voice at least 30 years ago. Any thoughts? * I just figured out who Tom sounds like at 18:42: Bobcat Goldthwait *

None better than Segura

Tom is one of the sarcastic storytelling types that does a great job of keeping you interested from start to finish and laughing to where you'd think you had been doing an ab workout after. Or lifting weights with your face... Def. worth watching more than once.

The fat kid is now older

The fat kid got a beard and he is much older now. So he adopted a paternalistic slow speech and talks about being the fat kid. Is this supposed to be comedy? Or is it the support group?
