Worst acting I've ever seen.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst acting I've ever seen. There were a few exceptions but most of the people in this movie were such horrible, horrible actors giving them a Razzie would be a huge compliment. Some of them sounded like they were doing a first-time read-through of the script.

The acting was unbearable, even from the main character trying to portray multiple personalities its BRUTAL. There's a couple scenes were two of his personalities are fighting each other and that just does not happen with multiple personality disorder. There's one scene where he is supposed to be bashing his dad's head in with a hammer yeah it when he moves away there is not one drop of blood or injury on the man's head, there's a scene where a girl ties another girl to a towel rack in a bathroom to overdose her with heroin, now anyone with the least bit of construction knowledge knows that you could easily rip a towel rack out of the wall, a toddler could do it. Everything about this movie was terrible. I only watched it because there is a 3rd one that has a rating of like 6.4 stars and I wanted to watch to see how the first one could be so much worse with a 2.9 rating and it is THAT much worse.

Zero consistency

I watched this dud under the title JACK HUNTER'S PARANOIA TAPES. It's an indie horror film that goes for a found footage approach but has zero consistency and continuity thanks to the decision to make it all about the presentation of otherwise unconnected vignettes that are added together to form an incoherent whole. The hook is that these tales are supposedly based on true stories. The narrative just jumps from scenario to scenario, at times copying THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and at other times feeling like a true crime documentary. Some mildly creepy bits involving killer clowns are negated by terrible acting and the aforementioned lack of coherency.

This thing was awful. It starts with a tangentially related video straight from Youtube. From there, imagine "V/H/S", but the clips are limited to 3 minutes of aggressively unpleasant people bantering and sometimes killing each other. Uncomfortable and unpleasant to sit through, even after the Columbine footage.

Garbage. Pure unadulterated garbage.

Please do not watch this garbage. I have seen pre-teens put on back yard monster shows that are better than this crap. I would like to ask the people reciting their lines in awful monotone and the crew of this trash: are you serious??

Oh...my....God! This is the absolute WORST stinking pile of horse manure I've ever had the unpleasant time of watching. Terrible story, even for a found footage anthology, yeah they found a way to make that style of movie worse. By far the worst acting I've ever seen. I've seen better acting , seriously. There's really not any special effects so that sucks too seeing how this is labeled a horror movie. This thing shouldn't be allowed to be viewed by anyone...ever! Because watching it is equivalent to cruel and inhumane torture. Really, you could use this movie as a form of torture method to get someone talking, or just flat out punishment. What's even worse is somehow this thing spawned 3 sequels! WTF! Folks, really, just skip this one, it's not like a wreck, you wanna turn away but at the same time you don't, this thing is like nails on a chalkboard. Watching it just makes you cringe. I assure you, you can find something better to watch with minimal effort than this flaming garbage heap of a movie.

Okay take this with a grain of salt as i am an adhd individual who cannot sit through movies and prefers to have them as bg noise, but in terms of being a "good" movie i'd say it's Decent at best. While a couple of the tapes aare interesting and caught my attention, i'm hoping the rest of the series will get better as time goes on and isn't just a rehashing of the first one just with better equipment.

Fun, found footage film. The first 10 minutes replay actual footage from the Columbine murderers and other serial killers. You can jump ahead 10 minutes if you find the tweak stuff too hard to watch like I did. Otherwise, it's enjoyable indie fun
