While looking at the bullet information on the tablet, and later in the morgue, they refer to the ammunition as 9mm NATO, armor piercing depleted uranium, and subsonic. Also the photo on the tablet shows 9mm jacketed hollow point bullets. It is impossible for the ammunition to have all of these attributes. Armor piercing rounds are always high velocity (non-subsonic), and always have a hard penetrator core (not hollow point). While depleted uranium is used as a penetrator, it is most commonly found in 20 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm ordinance; rifle and handgun ammunition generally use hardened steel or tungsten cores. Also the rounds could be either NATO or hollow point, but not both: the Hague Convention prohibits the use of expanding projectiles (including hollow points), thus actual NATO approved ammunition is full metal jacketed.
