So much unnecessary violence
bram-0218923 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Be warned: this is not a coming of age film about discovering your sexual identity. It's one big, violence-induced apology for bullying a lesbian girl.

Gaslighting, multiple (!) suicide attempts, homophobic slurs, violent revenge, ongoing bullying, harmful stereotypes - it's obvious not a single lgbt person was involved in making this movie. The teacher even compares same-sex relationships to beastiality.

The storyline focuses completely on the bully and leaves no room for the girl's story. Also the acting is pretty bad and the dialogues are completely unintelligible.

If you're struggling with your coming out, please don't watch this but watch Heartstopper. It can be confusing but it's not THIS horrible.

Come On, Really?

This has to be the WORST movie of the year. It's really just plain horrible. The story is pure fantasy world. If you like an unhinged fantasy world not based in a shred of reality.

It makes one wonder who on this great green and blue world would put money behind this garbage. Well......

The acting is just the bottom of the barrel. This is like middle school kids who wanted to make a movie. It's sad how horrible it is.

The quality of the footage is also the pits. It's almost as if it was filmed on a ten year old iPhone with no resolution. And forget about the directing. There is none. It's a haphazard mess.

Avoid at all costs.

This should have been an oscar

I was watching this Dutch film about bullying with my United States American friend. We laughed our asses off it is too good.

There are a few funny scenes which involve more homophobic stereotypes, but this did not bother us too much as the film itself had the best plot ever.

If you want to learn about Dutch culture this is even better. It shows the over the top bullying scene on Dutch highschools and is very accurate... It also shows the pride parade and is pretty amazing in that way aswell. It is so cool and only on a budget of 10000,- euros.

This made my united states of American friend want to learn Dutch.
