- When Mordecai says to Rigby "You're not my friend!" near the end of the movie, it can be shocking to some long-time viewers of the show.
- When Rigby from the past realizes that he wasn't admitted to university CU, but Mordecai is accepted. Rigby makes a fake pamplet that says that Mordecai was rejected. This may be sad for some.
