Ok for a sweet romcom

If you like light romcoms where spoilt rich guy falls in love and marries hardworking poor girl, then you will like this. If you are looking for strong career heroine, then you won't like this too much. Acting is good and well paced.

Cliche storyline but sweet romcom

Loved this sweet series although the story is cliché, rich boy meets poor innocent girl.... but it was still fun to watch and I thought the leads had great chemistry. The supporting actors also did a good job too and made the series more interesting... The progression from dislike to love was cute and I liked the concidences although at first I liked the supporting male lead more. A few annoying things, the wedding at the end of every Turkish series is so unnecessary and unrealistic, would have been more interesting to see them finish school and set off on an adventure together... The ending was so rushed. Overall, its a fun light romcom.

Very weak story line

Do not waste your time watching this one. There are so many better series out there. The idea of çilek Kokusu is very simple, it's just a love story between two people from different background (the guy is rich, the girl is from the low class)and there are no other Worth watching stories. but this is not the worst. The worst is that everything is childish and naive, not deep enough, there is no plot. We discover easily that they are in love with each other, from the first episode, but than goes 20 episodes of repetitive issues. I got bored at episode 4 and I thought the series would get better by making a love challenge with the second guy : Aslan. but unfortunately, the scenario is not interesting. I have watched the whole series to give it a chance and now regret wasting my time.

If you are looking for one of the best Turkish romantic comedies this is the one. Love and chemistry between Asli and Burak is fantastic. They are a joy to watch. High recommendations 10/10

The first 2-3 episodes were really bad, bad acting, script, etc .. but after that I loved it until the end.

Very sad to see when things happening very quickly in the last episode. Then you know, it was cancelled :-/ I watched this series because of Demet (I think she is the turkish Sandra Bullock) but now I will watch more shows from Yusuf too :-D.

Strawberry Smell, Dreamy Yusuf Cim

Such a cute series. It offered many hilarious scenes that had me rolling with laughter. And what a cute lead, Yusuf Cim (Burak)! His smile is adorable, contagious and seems to heal any wrongs. The relationships were fun to watch with each new show. The friendships of Asli and Gonca/Gonca and Erdem/ Erdem and Burak/ Burak and Volkan/ Eda and Asli were so much fun to keep up with. I loved the characters, Elcin and Sinan as well. They were beautiful to the eyes but also balanced and fair.

The conclusion seemed rushed and I would have loved to see more, but I understand that it's part of the business of dizis. Again- Yusuf Cim's smile-ahhhhh ....Just had to say it again! Haha!

This series is light but worth it. Çilek Kokusu/ Strawberry Smell/ Con olor a fresas was release way back 2015, but still interesting to watch. A lovely summer series, this will remind you of your first love. Good acting and great chemistry between ( ASLI & BURAK ) Demet Özdemir & Yusuf Çim. Every episode is amazing. Only 23 full episodes to enjoy. A series for young adults that shows love has no boundaries and a great brotherhood between BURAK & Volkan. Worth to give it a try and watch the chemistry between the Main Lead flourish from Episode 1 to the Finale episode. Hoping for another series by Demet & Yusuf.
