Great writing in a what if world

Fantastic performance from Toby Regbo in this one I think. Totally believable in the man-up scene with Antoine and his guard. A couple of glances at the guard made it easy to guess what was about to happen. Everyone learns from their daddy if he's around to learn from. The dance scene is ruined for impact due to the inserts of Lola and Narcisse and King Antoine. It should have been a singular fluid shot. The trailers for the next episode give away the death scene so this last dance scene should not have been interrupted for emotional impact purposes, in my opinion and for what it's worth. I would have milked that cow considering the clips of Francis' death are already running for next episode. I knew they would use the witch, of course, you can't get away from witches, vampires, or homosexuality if you turn a t.v. on now. Those things are all over this show from season 1 to 3. It's sad really. Megan Follows character Queen Catherine seems to have lost a bit of her mind, I think. She appears to have added a new cog to her gears, Megan has. What an outstanding and amazing actress she is. Fascinating to watch her quick shift role play. Writers, careful on the predictability. A series should run as far as you can get it to go. As long as you hold the keyboard or pen, you hold the remedy to a situation created by being over zealous. Loss of ratings is due to predictability. That, and every scene next that Mary and Francis get on track with each other and have a moment to be together, it just gets ruined and the ruination lasts much longer than the reunite. There are team Frary people for a reason. Vicariously they live through the characters, that's what they turn the t.v. on for. If your two main love characters are always apart and fighting, Frary lovers will find another couple and your ratings go kaput, the series ends on a bad note.
