Always with just seconds to spare
carly_hope7 October 2015
I understand that the concept of Scorpion is about the team being able to do things that mere mortals are not able to but it would be nice if they didn't always have to run against a clock and achieve their goal with only seconds to spare. They could shake the formula once in a while.

Other then that I quite enjoyed the episode. I so felt for and with Sly. But he did such a good job.

I like that his relationship with Megan, as low-key as it is, is the most functioning one on the show. Walter and Paige are slowly learning from each other. And poor Toby. He often comes across as pushy but it can't be easy to be so self-aware and also aware of the others to understand what is happening and knowing there isn't much you can do about it. Though I have the feeling all is not as it seems with Happy's gentleman caller.

I really enjoyed the subplot with Ralph. He found an effective solution and he is aware enough to know how messed up his friends are in some regards.

I also liked Cabe playing father to both Toby and Sly though I hate that they threw an interesting female character under the bus to prop him. That is just lazy writing.

Overall an entertaining and suspenseful episode.

And it was nice to see Wade Williams in prison again.

Good episode as usual from what I've seen so far, like I said my biggest critique is the episodes name, if you know you know 😂

Something for everyone here

This episode is great as it lets Sylvester take the main stage. He goes into the action for once and totally nails it. He was so brave taking on Ten Ton, quite an evolutionary leap for him. Ralph dissing the team saying he has to learnt to relate to humans is brilliant and great fun.

An interesting episode. However, I can't stand Sylvester. Sorry. He is annoying. He pines for women all the time. He goes after Walter's sister. Then after she sadly passes away He goes Flo. Really strange.

Not that Smart

Warning: Spoilers
OK, First I do like the show and have been watching since the beginning, but I may have to reevaluate that decision. Although the actors do a wonderful job with their characters, this is yet another case when the writers are not nearly as smart as the characters. Gaping holes in the logic of this episode makes me wonder if anyone is really trying for any quality control. One - The code was obviously a simple letter for symbol substitution code. It was as simple as a cryptoquote in many daily papers. Someone with half Walter's IQ should have seen that and my IQ is 178. Two - Yes, can't remove the books from the library, but the warden said he already went through all the books. He could have simply forwarded the exact titles and edition numbers to the team who then could have downloaded exact copies. Come on, at least try a little harder.
