So I don't think anyone can say they haven't noticed that Family Guy and American Dad has been lacking in humor and yeah everything that made the two shows great before.
This episode shows a little step in the right direction at least. It did have some good jokes here and there but landed on a flat note I would say. Am I the only one who really want to see a decent story line in a family guy episode? Instead of these 'oh yeah this is happening and nope' and then the episode is over. I think Seth has become more and more mainstream and is too soft in his jokes in both his shows. We all wanna see him step up and start some real jokes again like in was in the earlier family guy episodes. Try to do more gags about what seems to be popular with the ''kids'' these days.
But I think the only people who are screaming ''OH MY GOD !! WHAT A GREAT EPISODE!!'' is fans who like anything from FG or AD just for the heck of it.
