Caroline rocks the show - more screen-time for Candice please

I know this might be unpopular but I so much enjoy season 7 without Elena. I never was a fan of her, started watching TVD because of the subject (Vampire-fan for almost 40 years), Damon, Jeremy and Caroline etc., but surely not because of Elena+Stefan. I do miss Jeremy and I would be mad if they kill off Matt or Alaric, but mostly I do enjoy watching Caroline/Candice. Since Elena is gone Caroline has so much more screen-time, and she knows how to use it, it is so much bliss! And though I would have loved Klaroline, I must admit that Steroline does have some appeal (wouldn't have guessed so since in my eyes Stefan (and Paul as I have seen him in person) does not have much charisma. And - absurd as it is - I think the pregnancy is fun. I was thinking about quitting watching during S5/6 but Candice got me back!

Cold as ice Christmas TVD style

This was another great Christmas themed holiday episode with Damon and Stefan trying to hunt down juilian while dealing with their own personal problems at the same time, the last 10 minutes when the big fight happens are fantastic and the ending is amazing and a great plot twist.

A nice Christmas episode! It is quite festive, although this show always reminds me of Halloween rather than Christmas, no matter what the special episode is about!

It is almost Christmas and a round-bellied Caroline is helping with the toys for tots drive. Bonnie tells Caroline that she can handle a few tasks if Caroline can handle all she is doing alone on top of being pregnant. Alaric and Caroline go to a birthing class where Caroline shows off her knowledge. She has studied and says they all hold a huge responsibility as they are bringing new life into the world. She hears whispers from a couple talking about Alaric being the professor and Caroline a student. They wondered what Caroline was getting in his class. Caroline's hormones are driving her mad and she gets angry at a much more intense level. Alaric stops her from going to the couple. Julian stabs Damon with the sword and the roundish ball thing on top. Nora stabs Stefan with it later. It traps their souls in the ball where they live out their sins.
