This was another awesome episode that like the previous one stands out compared to the first 3 episodes of the season, it introduces the true villian of the heretic family and has a fun road trip feeling to it which is common in every other season, this was a really great episode with alot of memorable moments and fun interactions and story progression.

Uncovering the facts of the Phoenix Stone

Caroline is in bed with Stefan and feeling bored not doing anything besides just laying there. Stefan comments she is obviously itching to start the day and is making a mental list of things to do. Damon comes in while they are naked under the sheets with coffee. He is celebrating that they got Caroline and Elena back.
The heretics are happy they have Oscar but Oscar is crazy thirsty. He also doesn't seem to be himself.
Bonnie goes to the heretics in the Salvatores' home and asks Oscar about the Phoenix Stone. Enzo's eyes widen as he knows Lily wants it but he has no clue what it is for.
Valerie tells Stefan she was pregnant but lost the baby because of Julian. Valerie, Stefan and Damon find the coffin that Julian is in at the same time as the lesbian couple and Lily.
They chant with the Stone to bring Julian back to life.
