The Mysteries Increase

Det. Ben Grady dies after making love with Suri due to the injuries of the boat chase accident. Harry asks the reluctant Suri to take a leave and while driving her home, but he receives a phone call from Eve asking him to meet her. When Harry goes to the address, he sees three bikers robbing a jewelry, where the Jewish owner dies. When they arrive at the police station, Winter forces Suri to take a leave. Harry is forced to stop the investigation of since Anna is defending Kevin Gray, and Winter assigns Harry to team up with the limited Steve Orwell to investigate the jewelry robberies. Meanwhile, Suri uses her leave to investigate the casino owned by Lily-Anne Lau.

"Evil Eye" is another good episode of "Lucky Man", with a new case entwining to the previous one. Harry Clayton cannot get rid of the bracelet and now he has a short-minded partner. Why Anna was hired to defend Kevin Gray is another mystery in this good storyline. My vote is seven.

After last weeks shocking conclusion this third episode begins on a sombre note after Ben's death and a bit more of Harry's 'good' luck it seems goes the other way as the bad side of the mysterious bracelet comes knocking at Ben's door.

Harry(Jimmy Nesbitt)has to console his grieving partner Suri(Amara Karen)but also faces a group of vicious diamond store robbers who raid two stores near each other looking for a extremely rare diamond.

Whilst this goes on Harry's superiors DS Warner(Steven Mackintosh)and DI Steve Orwell(Darren Boyd)are continuing to try and find evidence to make a case against Harry.

Harry finds himself partnering Orwell whilst Suri has time off.

Suri herself finds herself in trouble when she visits the casino that was run by the murdered Freddy Lau and is warned off by his daughter.

All this as well as Harry's wife Anna(Eve Best)is representing Kevin Grey the man who owned up to the murders of Lau and the girl who Grey lost to Lau(he thinks she was stolen by Lau)plus of course the strange bracelet which Harry can't get off and more meetings with the beautiful Eve(Sienna Guillory)Harry finds himself in one scrape after the other.

A very slight downturn to the roaring opening episodes and quite a bit more complicated too this episode still entertains but not as much.

Nesbitt still keeps it very exciting and his 'good' luck charm plays its part again including helping him with the diamond robbers and helping save a life.

If it hadn't been as confusing about the diamond plot this could of been the best yet as the twists were still there plus Nesbitt's trademark charm and humour and a wonderful supporting cast still are strong,lets hope next time its less camp and has a more straight plot.
