Probably the episode in which the A and B storylines are best used as parallels for the different dynamics which makes Rick and Morty such a successful show and captures the Simpsons-esque writing which makes it appeal to such a broad audience.
The A storyline, with Rick becoming Tiny Rick and going back to High School, gives all the superficial, 1-dimensional jokes that are easy to digest and fuel the meme culture that appeal to a wider and younger audience.
The B storyline, which explores the hilarious and complicated marriage between Beth and Jerry - as beautiful and complex a relationship as any on TV - expanding the much loved lore that keeps longer-term and older viewers coming back for more.
Not the best episode but far from the worst. A worthy episode of a great series.

B plot surpasses the A plot

The tiny Rick storyline never sat right with me. I never really cared for it and frankly thought it was boring!
However the B-plot surpassed EVERY expectation i had. It was funny, unique, suspenseful and there was no Rick involved. Would have loved to see this as an entire episode insted of having to follow through with the boring A-plot.

John Hughes would be proud!

Not many shows can pull off coming of age angst, with High concept Sci-Fi delightfulness. The Episode reminds us there is still more to learn about young adult life, while maintaining the thoughts of abolishing those ideas. As a Genre episode it's both thought provoking, and incredibly entertaining.

One of season 2's weaker moments

So far season 2 of Rick and Morty has been an absolute blast. However, this episode feels like more of a one trick pony than anything else. Seeing Tiny Rick is funny at first and makes for a few good gags but they don't really do anything all that special with him.
The B-plot with Beth and Jerry, imo, is completely disposable if entertaining nonetheless. That being said, the end and post-credits scene and really funny and the Elliott Smith reference is based and indiepilled.
