Possibly the last episode you'll watch

If you, like me, at some point hesitated whether to continue watching the otherwise excellent Netflix series #MarcoPolo on @Netflix, then I think your last episode must have been "Hug" (S2E2). It's original just as the rest of the series, but the key twist is unexpected, and the emotions it unleashes are almost unbearable. In the end I did watch the full series though. It's a masterful artwork based on a rich historical background that is still too unknown or idealized in the Western world. What a pity the production was eventually cancelled. Still hoping somebody equally able will pick it up again one day, and that the crew and cast will follow.

Took me 2 months to start watching again because this episode was terrible and it took the Kublai in a development where he did not need to go. the writer of this episode should never write again. dumb!

It was all leading up to him making a choice and this reminded me of the movie "serbian movie" after watching it you are left think "why" totally stupid turn and more so for shock value.

Versailles is not entirely based on fact but they are not dumb enough to have Louis kill a child.

Any show takes his libertys with history. but this is just plain disrespectful. we know wat did happen and to change it like this shows this series has no longer a reason to be continued. the acting was good but that can't save the series from the trash writing

Enjoyed untill i see this episode. This episode is very disturbing and don't want to watch the remaining episodes. The writer and director are nothing but child killer psychos.

I really enjoyed watching the series. The caracter development, story, plot etc. That is , until this one . It killed it for me. I m done. Who ever wrote this should , really, start a completely different profession. Go bake bread. Maby they ll turn out better , then this, terrible monstrosity..
