Warning: Spoilers
It's a good first episode. it's cool seeing the muppets in there personal life even. I no that the muppets aren't Real entities the jokes were SubtleI. like how they were kind sexual but they were very funny. miss piggy was really annoying in this episode. but it further extended her character and you see what she is rally like but now I see her differently now the meeting seen was the best part because you what "happens" before each show. Over all this was something new in the muppets and I like it But Kermits new girlfriend is interesting

How the mighty have fallen

The Muppet always worked well as a show about a bunch of friends making a show. This has moved away so far from the atmosphere that made the Muppet that it's hardly recognizable as such.

Muppets are creative artists that sing and dance. They do not produce a talkshow and they certainly do not star in a mockumentary. It is just not a muppet thing.

Writing is poor, most of the jokes are so not funny that all they lack is a pathetic drum riff to punctuate them. Add to that rather poor lighting and a perpetually moving camera that induces motion sickness and you have a show that doesn't even manage to induce the slightest smile.

I urge anyone to watch at least one episode. Switch it off after 10 minutes and start looking for an old episode of the real Muppet.

Pig Girls Don't Cry

The Muppets return in a brand new television show but they have decided to go for the mockumentary route like the Modern Family.

The result is patchy, unfunny with a nasty streak. I did not like it.

The Muppets were cheeky, crazy, mischievous with a let's put on a show attitude.

Here they are putting on a chat show for spoilt primadonna Miss Piggy who has split up with Kermit and bitter about it. This is shown in the first episode by Miss Piggy not wanting Elizabeth Banks as a guest. It has shades of The Larry Sanders Show about it which cynically pulled apart the late night US chat shows.

It is no wonder there was no second season.
