Entertaining filler
tenshi_ippikiookami23 April 2016
After saving Raven, the group heads back to Arkadia, where an unexpected enemy is waiting for them. At the same time, Murphy meets an old friend with unexpected consequences.

This episode of "The 100" doesn't advance much the story, and it is more a filler than anything else, even though it has a couple of very important/touching moments. The group working together again is a nice touch, but the story for the episode is not a especially interesting one, as the group has to face an "unknown" enemy who seems to be picking them one by one.

As it plays, the episode seems a homage to horror movies about monsters lurking in the dark, with characters getting picked up one by one. It is entertaining though, as the action and the tension are nicely done, but it is not something you have not seen countless of times on movies or TV series. If not for the characters the viewer has come to care about, it would be a run-of-the-mill kind of episode, competently done, but nothing more.

This show is getting better; different kind of episode - amazing
alicjanath22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is really different than others how writers have told us but it's one of the best episodes in season 3. I love the fact that that all delinquents are together, it really feels like season 1 again, we can finally see all our main characters interacting with each other (would love to see Murphy with them though!).

Lindsey and Marie are amazing, Raven crying over Sinclair and Octavia over Lincoln's body..Emotional, sad, beautiful scenes. It broke my heart but I loved it so much. Bellamy doing everything what he can for his sister. Amazing moment when they - blake siblings thought they are going to die and they looked at each other. Damnnn, "they will always find a way to be Blakes again" - how Bob said it, can't wait for more their scenes. Clarke is finally back at being hero. Her storyline in s3a wasn't focusing on "her being hero" but now she is back in charge and saved everyone's asses! I'm here for it! Bryan, Miller, Harper - what can I say? Can they have more screen time? Love them so much!

Murphy is still my favourite and please don't hurt him. I missed Emori so much and well.. her storyline.. I didn't see that coming! So stage 2 - done, both Polis and Arkadia has fallen. What now? CAN'T WAIT!

Captivating and Heart Clinching
manmanthegr23 April 2016
Great episode, captures the growth of the characters on a totally different level. Does not just focus on Clarke the whole episode though which is what makes it amazing. Although Clarke is the main character and in a huge portion of this episode, it does get tiring to only see her and not many other characters. So I am glad Bellamy, others get a chance to shine and for their character to develop. I totally don't see all the negative reviews for this show. It seems like they are all just because they killed off Lexa a couple episodes ago. Shame that people still aren't over it. The only thing I don't really get is the "maybe there are no heroes" theme.

That was amazing!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode had me at the edge of my seat throughout the entire thing! It was so intense and suspenseful that when it was over I couldn't believe an hour had passed by!

I loved seeing Bellamy and Clarkes' dynamic back where it should be. They work so much better together than apart!

Emori came back and surprised us all with her presence, which was great until we find out she's already on team Jaha. WOW. PLOT TWIST. I can't wait to see what happens if Ontari takes a chip. Polis has fallen as well as Arkadia. Hoping Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia and Jasper finds Luna soon and we'll get to see how the showdown between ALIE 1 and ALIE 2 pans out.

It's getting very interesting!

The Most Effective Filler Episode I've Ever Seen!
nomis941 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Man, this is an incredible episode. The tension is unbelievable and the acting is so good. The low ratings since episode 7 aired are a bad joke. From episode 8, The 100 is top-notch entertainment. Some people don't even watch and give them 1 star. Stop being annoying and enjoy The 100 in its best moments! "Demons" is undeniably a filler episode - BUT - it's such a good and effective one. To me it doesn't really feel like filler. The confrontations with Emerson are so suspenseful and thrilling, I was on the edge of my seat.

Clarke shines in this episode and the overall acting is just superb. The writers did a great job by delivering tension, emotions and storytelling.

The intro, however, is a little bit cheesy. I don't like such horror-based tension, but it is effective anyway.

The ending is awesome.

Worst Episode Yet
leahmythical21 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I keep holding on, thinking, maybe all the crap we endured earlier in Season 3 will finale pay off and start making some semblance of sense.

Wrong.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Tonight was like a cheap horror show.

I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say I'm tired of the female characters being unable to really mourn. It's like the show is saying the only way a woman can be strong is if she doesn't show and explore her emotions, and wow, what a way to crap on women. I love badass, strong women, but if you cancel out their emotionality and sensitivity, I'm gonna call foul.

The deaths this episode were pretty gruesome. Especially the one involving a certain flame (hint hint: the chip) and the sci-fi aspect of this show is getting really asinine. How in the world can a chip do what that chip did...how old is this thing and how strong, what material is it made of and how can a verbal phrase set it off?

Clarke continues to save everyone & blame herself for everything.

Sad to see another minor character go. If you watch this show, be careful to not get too attached to side characters or main characters, this show is all about killing off as many as possible. Probably for budget reasons since it's such a small show.

An AI literally rules Polis now, and lots of main characters were invisible tonight.

Raven/Clarke interaction is always a win. If you're into the chip going beastmode and killing people to save Clarke & her friends, then you might say Lexa is still protecting her girlfriend, haha. The jokes are pretty much the only reason to keep watching at this point.

Bellamy...I think the show is pushing his redemption arc by having him bring Lincoln's body, but yeah, the writers assassinated his character too much for me to forgive him. It would be like watching Finn slaughter that innocent village and then having no justice and being expected to forgive him. Bellamy helped slaughter a peace army. A few tears and whispering a grounder phrase over the dead body of the utterly heroic Lincoln will not give him a shred of redemption in my book. My feels are all for Octavia.

RIP The Hundred.

Creepy, Intense, & More Killing
cheryl_justinbieber22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Tonight's episode of the 100 was downright creepy and intense! I mean i didn't think the show could get any more intense than the previous episodes but it continued to prove me wrong. It started a bit slow, where Harper, Miller, and Bryan are in the cave telling scary stories because what is there to do when its raining with lighting right? Then once Miller finishes his story he suddenly disappears then Bryan and Harper disappears.

Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, Monty, Raven, Jasper, and Sinclair return to Arcadia to take Lincoln's book to get the map leading to Luna so she could take the AI. While they were there everyone kept disappearing until it was down to just Bellamy and Clarke. It was Emerson trying to get revenge on Clarke by trying to kill all of them. He put them in the Airlock trying to suffocate them and while he was choke holding Clarke, Clarke put the AI in him to kill him to try and save her friends again.

In Polis, Emori returns looking for Murphy but after having sex with Murphy, Murphy decided it was a good idea telling her Ontari isn't the actual Heda. Of course he was just looking out for her but he didn't know she was chipped. Long story short ALIE finally took Polis.

Towards the end Lincoln's body was shown to Octavia and while him and Sinclair was given a Grounder funeral it looks like that once again Octavia could not mourn over Lincoln's death. With the phrase "The dead are only mourn once the war is over" she isn't willing to mourn over him although she said her goodbyes to him and broke down. Overall, everyone's performance in this episode was amazing with Octavia still trying to keep it together, Monty still not over his mom's death and deciding whether or not to take the chip he still has, and everyone's effort to find Luna and bring Ontari down.

What Kinda Cheap Horror Movie Crap Was This Episode?
dastardlykid21 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I should have had popcorn this episode, lmao.

This had to be the worst of the season yet and that's saying a lot since this entire season has been terrible.

I see a few reviews floating around calling this episode amazing, but it's just a couple people who ship Bellamy and Clarke, which is an infantile reason to overlook the glaring issues with this show.

Just plot-wise, I'm lost. The chip burrowing into Emerson's head made no sense to me whatsoever. What kind of freak tech is that?

Sad to see Sinclair go. The 100 and death is still going strong as ever.

Bellamy's redemption does not resonate with me because when you kill hundreds of people without a good, honorable reason...yeah, not gonna fly. He's just another Finn, except there's no justice with his storyline.

And can Clarke stop suffering already, what's with gross men constantly choking the poor girl?

RIP Lincoln. Still mad he's dead. Even madder Bellamy put his gross hands on that hero's body. Poor Octavia.

ALIE...Ontari...ugh. The whole Murphy/Emori/Ontari thing is blegh.

This show is rapidly devolving at such a consistent rate, it's amazing.

Another Great Episode!
DelphineCormier22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was another good one, with plots and twists everywhere. And FINALLY we got to see Ontari again! She was MIA in last week's episode and we missed her and Murphy! Johntari is goals. The whole thing with the ALIE 2.0 chip was brilliantly done and the way Clarke had that quick thinking to kill the guy with the chip was just..awesome!! The ending totally bugged my mind, wow, ALIE now has control over the Heda and the 12 clans! The human race is screwed! What are we going to do?!

Only one downside - they pushed a little too hard for it to be horror-based. The whole first scene with Emerson dressing in those masks were pointless and just for scare. They should stick to Sci-Fi instead of Horror-Fi.

Otherwise, all in all, a great episode. I'm sad to see Sinclair go. He'll be missed.

Horror movie tribute
josephjloverr1921 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I really liked the horror movie vibe of this episode! Of course, I also loved seeing the delinquents all together once more and back "home" in Arkadia together. Even though I loathe Jaha, the Polis scenes were intriguing as well. I loved seeing Emori back too! (real spoilers begin here) Even if she is chipped. I loved the reaffirmation of how much Clarke loved the delinquents, and also just how deeply Bellamy cares for Clarke (platonic or not). It was also good to see them leading together again, and it was even touching to see Clarke literally entrust Bellamy with what's left of Lexa. I think Sinclair's death was unnecessary, but other than that, I really loved this episode and I am so happy that the show is picking itself back up! I was beginning to lose faith, but I don't think I'll give up just yet!

Bellamy & Lexa's redemption arc, among other things.
flashpineapples22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I really loved this episode for a lot of reasons. It really had that season 1 feeling of togetherness that season 3 has been completely lacking. Of course, Murphy is still in Polis but at least he was happy for like half an episode before he was thrown back into the storm. But, my favourite thing about this episode and what I found most interesting was that Lexa had a great redemption scene. When Bellamy just kinda nods to Clarke when she's putting the Flame AI back into it's box, it's Bellamy acknowledging that this time it was Lexa who saved them. Bellamy has been blaming Lexa for a lot of things since the end of season 2, which in turn is something that forced Bellamy up Pike's arse. It's like Bellamy can forgive Lexa for leaving them, for all the stuff he's blamed her for, because at the end of the day it was Lexa who saved him, his sister, and his friends. So there's a kind of balance there, some closure that I didn't even know I needed until that scene. Octavia hasn't had time to mourn Lincoln, but I think she's right when sh said that warriors don't mourn the dead until the war is over. That's how she was taught, and she'll have her time to recover, despite how horrible everything is for her right now. She's powering through, which is exactly in character for her. Also, she can't mourn with Bellamy around. Seeing as she blames him, she needs to part with him and return when she has come to terms with everything that happened. Or at least, that's what I think she should do. BONUS! Good on screen time for Harper, Miller, and Bryan. I love their friendship.

Clarke de-elevate herself for the showrunner's narrative to work. How sad...
maxkronus22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Once again Clarke has to de-elevate herself because the other characters are not up to her level. Lost count of how many times she was blamed and figuratively 'shat' on to make the other characters look better than they are. It didn't work. It just makes the skyrats appear to be bigger ungrateful morons.

It is clear that the showrunner is changing the character's personalities in order to manipulate the storyline to the way he wants it. Of course this just comes across as fake and forced.

And the man who committed genocide recites a prayer that belongs to the 300 people he murdered in their sleep. How lovely. All is forgiven.

Horror story theme was awful and the special effects were laughably bad. Did they blow on their budget on the Polis storyline? Can't say I blame them since they probably knew that arc was the only good one they had. They had to reign in those viewers somehow.

The 100 is BACK
harpermonroe23 April 2016
This was a great episode. The 100 are for real back together now--including Raven! The key to the 100's appeal is the characters, and the characters shine best when they're together. This episode feels like we're returning to what the show's success was based on. In terms of the episode specifically, the writers tried to add a bit of a horror theme to this one. But the real appeal is the character scenes. Some excellent moments for Bellarke fans (whether you ship them or just ship them platonically) and some touching moments for Jasper, Octavia and for Raven. Surprising developments on the Murphy front back in Polis. We can start to finally be really excited about the direction the show is going this season. Can't wait until next week!

Just Bad
barnkat-0521121 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
If they wanted to copy off a cheesy horror movie they succeeded.

Characters just decided to be stupid for an episode. They lacked common sense. Its like if you picked a cast of people you like and then inserted them into a D level horror flick.

I don't know of they ran out of money but on scene in particular looked like bad Photoshop.

They added a few more plot holes that I won't even get into.

Women, again, weren't allowed to grieve.

Minorities suffer some more.

A minority dies.

Mass murdering Xenophobic character gets some more redemption. Also, Mr. intolerant uses grounder language because that's not OOC or disrespectful to the hundreds of people he's killed for no reason.

Enjoyable
hedaclarke2224 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Demons was an excellent episode that kept my interest for the whole hour. I really enjoyed seeing the main characters working together again. Sinclair's death was well acted out and saddening as it should be. Emerson's return and Clarke killing him brought back the theme of survival. Even though she tried the jus drein no jus draun way, it came back to haunt her. Because this is a vengeful, post- apocalyptic world, and there are no good guys. All that matters is looking after yourself and the ones you love. All that matters is survival. The other delinquents seeing Clarke fighting for them also erased any doubts in their mind of her loyalty and dedication. Overall, an enjoyable episode.

This show has gone from 10-0 in 46 episodes
nishkaflower21 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
When I complained about Sinclair's death and this insistence to kill one minority per episode this entire season, I actually had someone tell me "not everything's about color, you know." And I'm just

Even if you insist that "color has nothing to do with it" when it comes to Sinclair, the fact still remains that he's been there from the very beginning of the show, a character many people loved, and that he was pretty much a father to Raven who now truly has no one left

The fact that she was grinning by the end of the show was an insult to both their characters and the connection they had, and the fact that Sinclair got killed off in what was essentially a crappy horror movie filler episode is insulting to fans who have loved him from the beginning

But when you bring color into it, on top of Bob Morley having the worst arc ever this season which negated all the progress Bellamy has made from Season 1, their bright idea for Raven was to have her attempt to commit suicide against her will AND suddenly grow all-knowing, not thanks to her own considerable intellect but because she had a chip installed into her at some point (which was designed by a white woman btw whoop) + the fact they killed off Monty's mother for shock effect (how original another minority dead, they must think they're so progressive), have had two black men cast as the biggest villains in the show, treated Ricky Whittle like crap then killed off Lincoln, resorted to dead-lesbian-killed-by-stray-bullet trope, and finally Sinclair, all these are examples of a TV show that's turning out to be a disaster of epic proportions, and the fact that it still exists and people can't see how problematic it is makes me lose the last bit of faith I have for human kind

It must be nice to live in a world where "not everything's about color" when in some people's lives, everything is about color, including whether they get to live or die, in the real world, every day

But no, by all means, I suppose ignorance is a privilege not many people get to have, so they should enjoy it

I keep holding out for the episode where this show will regain its footing
dtowwnshorty23 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Artists often say that they start their work with a clear vision, but in the process it kind of takes a life of its own and goes in a different direction, organically. This season it's clear the natural progression of the story and the characters were completely disregarded for a singular idea/plot, and it's awful! Honestly, I've never seen anything seem so forced. None of the plot makes sense, there are so many holes and the characters are not being themselves. This episode solidified that for me. The fact that the love of Clarke's life died in her arms like 2 days ago yet she has no grief at the mention of her name? She downplays everything she saw and felt over the past few weeks and thinks Lexa is ai?? Seriously guys, completely disrespecting Lexa's character and Clarke's for that matter. Everything in the story telling is off at this point. I used to love this show, now it's just becoming a source of anger and sadness. Where's the collaboration with the writers that used to create such dynamic story and character development like s1 and s2? I keep holding out for the episode where this show will regain its footing. "May we meet again".
