Episode Four
bobcobb30122 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
So many things to like about this throwback episode. Glad Morning is back and they are making old jokes about her.

But the episode's big selling point was a lot of time spent on the dynamic of the big three: Sean, Bev and Matt. Great moments at the ranch, at the vet and of course when brainstorming a new show.

Yet another strong Season 5 episode.

Not the worst episode of the season

... That would be the one that follows. Long live Episodes. Great first three seasons. Mediocre season 4. Awful final season. It's dying an awful death.

Let the pig die-it's animal cruelty not to

Warning: Spoilers
This painful episode of Episodes revolves around Sean accidentally wounding a pig at Matt's ranch. Rather than killing the pig, putting it out of its misery, Bev convinced Matt to take the wounded pig to the vet, causing it enormous pain and suffering. It's the worst episode in 5 seasons.

Episode 5.4

Carol has a spring in her step as she confides in Beverly that she has rekindled her romance with Lapidus only for Beverly to discover that Lapidus is only romancing Morning, the lady with the pert boobs who seems to get younger with each season of the show.

Sean and Bev get together with Matt at his ranch to bounce ideas for his new show. Matt wants to play the US president and then pitches an idea for a show called Whores only to discover Netflix is only going ahead with something similar.

The episode culminates with a shooting incident involving a wild boar that Matt has been aiming for some time.

However I did think the episode lost focus by getting away from Hollywood. It was a weak ending that no one wanted to pay for the treatment of the boar at the vets. Did they expect the vet to treat it for free?
