Plot weakens by the week
Cookiekiller15 November 2015
The fast paced rhythm of the show only managed to hide an increasingly weaker plot for so long. Every episode is about discarding a former trainee from the suspects' list. As we are only at episode 7, we can easily imagine the new suspect won't be the right one. Moreover, the flashbacks are less and less interesting as they do not bring anything new about the various characters anymore. All shadows seem to be erased and there are no new elements of doubt about the trainees. We started with a very intricate plot full of overwhelming details and we arrived at a very black and white picture. Finally, characters are sexy and everything, but I found that romantic aspects are taking too much space, making the show to lose its balance. Is this supposed to be an espionage show or another Grey's Anatomy? The writers need to come up with something fast...

Quantico: Go

Episode 7 realises that it needs to focus on other characters which are seen in the flashbacks but almost absent in the present post bombing scenes.

Simon and Alex find one of the twins and are told that they have been on a mission to infiltrate terrorist cell across the street and are trying to find out when the next attack is planned.

At Quantico training, the twins are officially introduced to the rest. The class are faced with a dangerous test where they are locked in a classroom with a bomb left behind by another trainee.

Simon is unable to defuse the bomb in time but they find out that the bomb is a fake. The trainees who stayed back with the team have passed the test and demonstrated their readiness to sacrifice themselves for the country.

In the present, Natalie suspects Ryan of helping Alex and track him. While trying to apprehend Alex, the FBI put the twins in danger as the wrong twin is in with the terrorists.

This episode starts with at lease one of the twins being a suspect but this is soon discarded as again, someone is in a secret mission and worse still its been jeopardised as others in the top of the FBI seem to know nothing about it as they go gung ho after Ryan and Alex.
