This Episode begins with Meredith, she moved to her old house. Meredith lives together with Maggie and Amelia. Jessica and Aliyah have been brought to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Jessica has a relationship with Aliyah, but Jessica's parents aren't accepting that. Meredity and Owen perform Aliyah her surgery. Tracy gives Owen and Meredith some advice during their surgery. Maggie punched Bethany in her face. Bailey gives her speech to become the new Chief of Surgery. April returned to Seattle. Bailey is the new Chief of Surgery. Owen kissed Amelia. Amazing First Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 12, great beginning of this Season. Still in love with this Series!

You can already see the transition at the end of season 11 where you can see the show start to decline. This episode is the start of the demise of the show: Amelia, Maggie (barf), and Meredith are now living together in the intern house. Alex moves in with Wilson in a loft (yuck). Apart from the writing being stale and the acting being stiff, the music that they play in this episode (and the next episode) is absolutely awful. We don't get a lot of good medical cases in this episode it just seems scattered and all over the place. It's already well over a year since Derek died and there is no mention of him but you can really feel his absence. At least when Maggie first came on to the show we still had Derek to still make it feel like greys. Meredith and Alex continue to be the stars of the show and rightfully so. The Jackson and April plot is disappointing and sad. The show never recovers after this episode except for some good story lines and episodes in season 16 with the teddy and Tom romance. Don't waste your time watching this episode, and if you do watch it you will see that you will never see a good season of greys ever again, unfortunately because it was once an amazing amazing show.

This didn't even really feel like an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Did they change the writers? I watched the whole show up to season 10 back in the day and recently started watching again right from the first episode. The political agendas seem to be really creeping into the show and not in a good way. I said to myself that it might not be a good idea to watch after Derek's death. It was a great show with George, Izzy, Christina, Mark and Lexie and others. They continue to slowly eliminate all the good characters and replace them with clichés. Sometimes when there are OR scenes with all female surgeons it feels like I'm watching The View.
