New season, new city for Agent Carter as season 2 takes us away from New York City to another grandiose city on the opposite coast: Los Angeles, and it seems to work just as well, maybe even better, for the show. And we start off with a mystery that is quite fascinating.
The opening scene with the apprehension of Dottie was great as it is a well orchestrated foil of a heist, with a great battle between Carter and Dottie. Dottie is always fun and never bores so its great that it seems like she'll be recurring.
The dynamic between all characters like Carter and Sousa/Thompson/Jarvis is still great and it is one of the goods that makes this show great. They also add new interesting characters, like Dr Wilkes, Ana Jarvis, Calvin Chadwick and Whitney Frost. I must say that Ana is a pure delight and that her accent is freaking adorable.
I would say that the humor was a bit hit and miss in the episode but the humor that did work worked very well. The villain of this season has to match up to Dottie so those are very big shoes to fill and I am unsure that this season could live up to the first season.
+ Dottie + Fun, new location + Relationship between main cast members + New characters made there mark - Hit and miss humor - Big shoes to fill following very strong first season that I doubt will happen
Final Score: 8.1/10
