DJ and Stephanie: The Playgirls.

I do not like baseball, but the sport featured in film and tv almost always transitions well.

Stephanie dates Hunter Pence. This is THE Hunter Pence, not an actor. He gets the entire house tickets to a Dodgers game. Steph will sing during the seventh inning stretch. Apparently, Pence has been in a slump since dating her. Is she really a jinx?

The game is the backdrop for the stories in the later half of the game. And it turns out great.

With Lola coming to the game, Jackson is still trying to woo her.

DJ and Matt are getting serious. But her and Steve may be rekindling their romance. This arc is the start of the main arc for the rest of the series. They are rivals for DJ's heart. Matt is awesome, but I have always been Team Steve.

The baseball and DJ's love triangle are presented well here. And the start of a massive story with DJ, Matt and Steve has me intrigued.

Every sitcom has weaker episodes, and this is a fine example. The scenes at the Baseball games are cringy to say the least.

It is nice to see them give DJ a bit more of a life though, rather than just being the perfect mother/straight character while the others do fun thing.

Not great, but amiable enough. A bit like the show in general I suppose you could say!
