There is always some light at the end of the tunnel. This may be fabricated, but still a very nice look into things that go wrong that turn out fine at the end.
All Ramona wants is for her big day as an official teenager to go well. She gets a Mary-Kate & Ashley outfit--a hilarious allusion and partial pitch for the real girls to return to the show. The party in the backyard looks epic but the power goes out. What was sure to be the best party ever turns into a major dud. The main thing she wants is for her parents to get along. Sure they are divorcing, but they need to coexist.
Steve meets Matt. He is jealous that Matt is a good-looking guy and Steve wants DJ back. He suggests Matt date Kimmy. Matt's second appearance and I already dig him. He is so cool, witty, charming, and just plain awesome.
Jackson wants Ramona's new best friend to recognize him. Not too bad of a subplot.
I enjoyed this episode.
