Mad Max

It's nice to see DJ having a bit of a life of her own here, rather than just being the saintly mother figure.

Whether you find the character of Max cute or very annoying is a matter of choice, but I liked the tender moment at the end.

Yes, this episode was a bit cheesy, but I'd rather wholesome family stuff than sitcoms that are sex obsessed any day.

Not So Good.

Warning: Spoilers
Here we have a contender for the worst episode of the season.

Kimmy puts DJ on a dating site which she disapproves of. She finds her a date and innuendo happens. Lame the way it turns.

Ramona babysits Tommy.

Max has a trombone recital. Stephanie says her scarf is magical and he believes it. But she is called to tour by an old English friend and accidentally takes it. Max's confidence declines. At the concert, DJ get a hold of Stephanie and she puts the music of the concert on pause and gets Max to play in front of thousands fo people. Too fake, tacky, and unrealistic to stay still. The cringe! Afterwards, Stephanie returns to the house and says she would rather be at the Fuller house. She then tells DJ she can't have kids--the only good part in a bad episode.
