This has been one of my favorite baking show competitions since its inception. I especially enjoy Duff and Nancy, and with the addition of Kardea as a judge this season, a wonderful trio has been established, although I really appreciated (and miss) past judge Lorraine Paschal. However, Molly Yeh does not have the right chemistry to be the host, as did every prior host, especially the charming and personable Bobby Dean. Even the judges appear to be a little taken aback by her false and insincere enthusiasm. Please bring back someone else next year - ANYONE but Ms. Yeh. My review would have been a 10 if not for Molly's cloying and fake personality.

Its a fun and good show. its the host of season 4 was so boring. the bar was set high from the previous hosts and he followed it with such a low level energy. jokes arent funny and no good banter with the bakers. jesse i think is the best. please get a good budget for the host.

I've learned a lot of baking techniques & tricks watching this show each season. Creations are colorful, inspiring, and contain twist ingredients. The competition remains exciting and the time-crunches are severe. After watching 8 seasons, I definitely think a point system is needed in the 2nd half of the SBC competition to ensure the top 3 bakers are in the Finale. Particularly when the winner of Season 8 made numerous baking mistakes throughout. Her desserts were ranked bottom 2 by judges repeatedly, yet she baked 2 great cakes at the very end to win the advantage, & then the $25,000. Romy, who baked beautifully decorated, complicated desserts throughout the competition was told he was moving on to the SB championship Finale (episode 9). However, the SBC competition was changed and Romy once again was required to compete for 1 of 3 finale championship spots. And what was with bringing Carolyn back (another Finale contestant) after the judges voted her off? If her cookie salad dessert didn't merit sending her home, then the judges should have told everyone they were safe that round and two people (instead of 1) would be eliminated the following main heat. Anyway, I am surprised there are no lawsuits surrounding Season 8!

OMG if Molly was on again this season of SBC I was done! It literally stressed me out watching her! She was so annoying and the ridiculous giggling and interrupting the bakers was totally on my nerves. I am good at recognizing fake and let me tell you, she was the worst I have watched on any reality baking show! THANK YOU FOR LETTING HER GO! I am loving it this year of 2023! I am so happy!

This is a cute show to watch what interesting bakes people come up with and get tips and techniques I haven't used before. I do not like seeing the Season 7 Episodes listed incorrectly and thinking I missed one. I watch on Hulu the next day and Episode 7 I was able to watch on March 9, 2021, but Episode 4 I am watching today the 18th. Thank goodness for IMDb, they sent me an email letting me know it was on this week.

I love this show and I love the holiday show. I love all the hosts. they are wonderful. I always wanted to be a good Baker but never was so I watch the show and dream about being on there I can just taste all the wonderful desserts 😊

The show itself is entertaining. The format is repeated throughout all of the holiday baking championships, which I don't mind. I watch for the theme and the creativity of the bakers.
Some seasons are a bit of a flop but you take the good with the bad. This season, season 22, it was mostly really good with a big flop at the end. Molly Yeh shouldn't have been the host of this show. She has a fun, innocent, childlike personality that would have been fantastic on a kids baking show. I blame the producers for putting her on this show and setting her up for disappointment, I don't blame Molly. We actually need more people like her on this planet.

Never have I observed such blatant manipulation. Kardea, the last female of the competition had no business being a part of the last four. She in no way, shape or form measured up to the calibre of the other bakers. And she most definitely was not a better baker than Kate. I'm just not sure if I'll watch this show again. It was clearly not a true and fair competition. Instead it came off as rigged; disappointing. At least the decision to keep all four bakers in the competition for the finale kept the best 3 bakers in the competition since you could not eliminate Kardea after giving her the 1st win of the day. I have truly enjoyed watching this competition since it began; just don't know if I'll continue watching a show that is not a fair competition.

I know these contestants are there for a few weeks, seems like 25,000 is on the low side of a prize. Especially in these days when the price of everything has gone up by 200%. Come on Food Network, we know you can dig deeper into this pockets. These guys deserve a way bigger prize.
I do love this show. The hosts are terrific, Duff is my favorite of course., he's so funny. Nancy is like our mom which I love and Kardea is a very nice edition. And I love Jesse Palmer! I love this combination, it's winning!
But seriously Food Network, up your prize money already. After taxes I'm sure these guys only get half of that. It seems they have to deal with a lot of stress... they deserve at least 50K.

As a regular watcher, I've been completely disappointed in the current host Molly Yeh. Why does an adult act like a 5 year old? She's over the top fake. The real winner walked off the show, imo. I'm glad he did, as his talent far outweighed the rest. I'm so tired of always "bringing back" someone that lost a round fair and square. I miss Loraine as a judge, too. So many things are now off track with this show.

When SpringBaking Championship began I loved it. This season with all the favoritism's the judges showed was a failure. Bringing back a eliminated person, ....awful. Why even have a contest. The way the judges criticized the more professional people for your favoritism was glaring. This is not a championship it's become a joke. I would have walked out also they way you treated the French man. He was without a doubt the best yet you chose a layer cake, I could make. I'm done with this show and know so may people that have turned it off. I'm not watching the end because no consideration to creativity and excellence. I'm done With this show I hope it gets off the air.

I believe that the call to bring Carolyn back earlier in the show after losing a competition, was a terrible call by the network. Now a fantastic baker left the show instead of being in the finale where he belongs.

The contestants kept me watching, although it was difficult with this year's host(ess). Whose idea was it to emotionally push the contestants in the final preheat, only to make the face-off for the spot in the top 3 about sprinkles? Seriously? Romi, you rock!

Molly is a terrible host, Carolyn should have never been brought back. Jaleesa should not have gone past the first episode. Romy was absolutely right to leave the show. He has real talent and creativity and should have won hands down. Why should a man of his talents be expected to bake with sprinkles? Seriously? Duff should be ashamed to be associated with what this show has become where real talent doesn't mean anything and a dull chocolate cake wins rounds. Please don't bring Kardea Brown back, she is unqualified and detracts from the show.

I loved this show in the past. But this year, I like the contestants. I like the competitions. I love the judges and adding Ms. Brown was a great choice. But the host, Molly Yeh, has got to go!!! She wanders the kitchen harassing the heck out of the bakers while they're trying to work - on a time limit - with crazy ingredients - and decorating to boot. I am literally screaming at the television, "Leave them ALONE!!!" Dang! And her expressions make me think she forgot she's an adult and thinks she's a kindergartener. Annoying! And what the sandusky was that stupid invite two random bakers in and then kick them both off in two shows? STUPID! Really, Food Network... Do better...

I have watched every season of this show. Molly is the WORST host ever. Her constant interruptions are distracting to the point that one Chef burned something in the oven!! If Molly stays as the Host, I will not be tuning in next season until she is replaced by someone professional. If one pays attention, the Chefs rarely look at her....super annoying.

Watching some of the previous seasons (glad we taped them) shows up the ineffectualness of 2022. Trite - boring & artificial. The new "host" is saccharine sweetness overload. Everything feels contrived, even the bakers chosen do not stand up to the quality of previous bakers. It's all about "personality" & who has the best emotional story to tell the audience/judges. Will not tape this season.

I don't know who thought Molly was a good choice to host this show but if she stays on my wife and I won't keep watching. She's horrible and I can't not see her huge mouth everything time she talks. And could she be any more fake?? Also we are done with Nancy. How many times does she need to say it's not spring like to only have her say the next cake she sees is brown as hell and calls it spring. Either let her drink more or stop her from drinking at all. She's an absolute idiot.
