Took me a few hours to find this mini-series/film on IMDb. Not that it's listed wrong on IMDb, but it's listed wrong on Amazon Prime where I watched it. Right title, wrong series. When I was watching it I was like, "Lennie James isn't in this?!?!" I had to find an external review on Google, find an actor/actress name and character just to find it on IMDb. Too bad Prime has it listed wrong, I think it'd get more ratings/reviews here (Amazon owns IMDb.)
Now, except for some poor camera work (forward/backward slow motion) and attaching a camera to an actor as he runs through the forest; the action scenes are pretty good as is the story. A computer programmer creates an antonomous operating system named Abie. His brother tries to find buyers for it, and he ends up dead and Dima (the programmer) is arrested for his murder. He goes to prison and then a guy named George and his cronies in the prison beat him up asking where the flash drive is but Dima doesn't know. They break out of prison, Dima is bent on finding the drive to save his family, who is being threatened and ironically he's being helped by one of the guys who beat him for the flash drive. It's sort of a "who can you really trust" type film that never really slows down which typically I would see as a negative but I actually think it worked with this film.
Amazon needs to fix their listing, though.
