While shooting the scene between Carson and Lance on the hill, the production crew experienced what they considered to be the widest variety of noise pollution in anyone's memory: passenger vehicles, property vehicles incessantly backing up, crop dusting planes, construction, tractors, and cooling system. When an F-15 out of Bangor, WA flew by, the crew broke down and laughed.
