Sex & Nudity

- While in Vegas, teens go visit a club, and one of them dances with women that are seen on poles and brief breast nudity can be seen.
- Rickie is seen making out on a few occasions with girls. They are kissing a little bit passionately but it is also brief and no clothes come off.
- Rickie makes crude remarks about the smell of his fingers after having sex with a girl. It is then shown him smelling his fingers while pleasuring himself.
Violence & Gore

- Rickie and his friends unload several rounds from pistols on a nest of rats. The dead rats remains are then shown and one of the friends get splattered with blood.
- Quite a bit of talk about gun trafficking and dealing illegal arms.
- There is much intensity and people getting beat up during police raids.
Profanity

- Pervasive language. 125 uses of "fuck", multiple uses of "shit", "dick" and "bitch".
- The "N" word is said a few times

- A wide variety of drugs are shown mostly cocaine, crack cocaine.
- A teenager is shown smoking a joint
- A group of teenagers are shown partaking in underage drinking with adults willingly supplying the alcohol.

- There are many police raids that are shown and are intense.

Sex & Nudity
- It is discovered that Rickie fathers a child with one of the girls he has sex with.
Violence & Gore
- A gang leader picks up a full bottle of wine and then proceeds to bash in a rival gang members' head. The victims head is shown completely bloody.
- Rickie is shot in the stomach by a gang member. He collapses and a pool of blood is shown forming on the floor around his sides.
- Rickie is shown during an emergency surgery. There are several shots of his stomach completely open with brief shots of intestines and blood.
- Rickie has to wear a colostomy bag during his healing process. He is shown going into the bathroom, removing his shirt, and pulling it completely off with quite a bit of fluid draining out. Very uneasy scene to watch.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- Rickie's sister is shown to be very high at times and then is shown detoxing.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Rickie watches his sister detox off some sort of drug. Very violent and disturbing.
- Rickie is told to strip and squat down three times in prison. This could be confusing for some kids why this is done.
