Violence & Gore

  • This show is moderately violent in the first season. Shootings, stabbings, and fighting is shown. No gore is seen but blood can be shown. Mostly superhero themed violence, not like Gotham violence.
  • In 3x01 Sara slits a guy's (blood shown, but not very bloody) but it is her imagination

  • Many characters in Season 4 drink excessively in most of the episodes.
  • Two of the main characters are frequently shown drinking or at least it seems pretty obvious that they are intoxicated.
  • One character is occasionally seen smoking from season four onwards. A few references are made referring to one of the character's "stash" in a manner that is obviously referring to smoking substances other than Tobacco
  • Frequent references to marijuana usage, particularly one character who is referred to as a stoner. While the actual consumption of marijuana is rarely shown, it is heavily implied that he is currently high many times.
  • Alcohol is used frequently, and "booze" is mentioned quite often.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Despite all the fighting and some torture it's a pretty lighthearted show.
  • Some moments of season 5 are pretty dark
  • Some zombies can look scary for some viewers

Sex & Nudity

  • One episode deals with a god of love who blows magic dust on people which makes them dream very sexually romantic dreams about other characters. No nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • The Legends go back in time to kill Rasputin. At the end of the epiosde Ray enlarges whilst inside Rasputin, causing him to explode. Lots of blood, organs and violence, extremely graphic. This happens in season 5 episode 2.
