Is getting old....
Somehow Maggie is the cardio chief, sister of Meredith, friends with the other staff and is absolutely clueless about huge and major past events. She's been working at the hospital for months and has no clue that her coworkers, and owners of the hospital, were in a plane crash. This comes after the revelation that Maggie had no idea her birth mother died from Alzheimer's, yet literally moved to the hospital in a search for her, and had been close to Meredith.
I'm ok with suspending some belief for the narrative of the story, but.... Clueless Maggie is ridiculous. It's simply poor writing, and a lazy plot device.
