Ok

Overall this show has been generally good, but this wasn't a good episode. Feels like they tried to fit a lot of plot into one episode. The dialogue felt forced and the directing felt out of place from the previous episodes. The chemistry between the characters is gone. Seems like the crew came out of a long break and then started shooting again.

Suspending one's belief
kingsx_6420 February 2020
Suspending one's belief is an absolute necessity for a show like this. If you can't, then you'll probably spend your time picking at all the improbables. Since I can, I love this show. In an era where shows get the axe without warning, it's nice to see the writers continuing with the plot line, and not just worrying about their jobs. But one thing I can't rap my head around is the Cassie turning psycho nut job switch. I mean the plot line of Cassie being good in her core was at the very HEART of the entire first season. Hanging around with Deacon for a few months can do this to someone? Naa, I'll pass on that crap. For the actress, I'm sure it's fun to change pace. But for this viewer it doesn't work. First season she says, people don't change. Second season she says, people change. So yea, now I'm confused. And I don't like it. Characters who make 180 personality changes don't usually go over so well. See, Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones. I'd have an easier time seeing a dragon fly across the screen then I do buying this Cassie is now a crazy angry nutjob

Good scenes but Cass needs the spolight

The show is still good but the main character Cassie has completely changed for no reason. In season 1, she is relatable, contributes to the plot and is heartful. Now she just an annoying teenage girl. Snarky remarks, being rude and condescending, talking about focusing on the "mission" will mostly distracting from it. Whenever the audience start being immersed in the plot, Cassie arrives and is like "I am here look at me"... Still overall good episode but completely changing a main character for no reason other then to make Jersey Shore like drama rarely makes for good results.
