This was a very good episode building up the last couple of episodes and some really big foreshadowment.

Turning Caroline's Emotions On

They get Caroline into a b and b where Stefan pretends he still has his emotions turned off. Caroline is furious and attempts to seduce Stefan but after he doesn't move to kiss her back, she realizes he has his emotions on.
Matt watches as a woman enters the restaurant. He is on the phone and says he sees someone who seems like they never been to a restaurant before so it must be her. Enzo shows up and stares at Lily. Lily recognizes him and invites him to drink with her before Bonnie comes. Bonnie is at the Salvatore house still looking for the Ascendant and tells Matt to keep stalling her.
Damon keeps asking Elena questions about whether she would want to be a human or a vampire. His mother has taken the vial of the cure and threatens to destroy it if she doesn't get the Ascendant back.
