There's no doubt about Kim Kane's skill as director and performer, especially in the case of this all-female sex feature. The problem with this late-late in the life of Vivid Video release is that it comes after the revolution in Lesbian Cinema wrought by pioneering labels like Girlfriends Films and Sweetheart Video.
So the five vignettes, strictly pantomime sex with no story or characterizations, is not as satisfying as its forebears, with their elaborate soap-opera plotting and often vivid roles. In fact, Kim's hand-picked cast is so big-name oriented that it seems lifted from the competition.
Her stylistic note is heavy use of wide-angle lenses, creating interesting distortion and odd compositions. Best example is a pairing of gymnasts, played by Lea Lexis and Lola Foxx, whose stretching contortions provide a logical springboard to sex. This sort of thing has more recently been done to death in both girl/girl and boy/girl vignettes (latter via Brazzers) dealing with sex in or after yoga class.
Another drawback is a tendency to veer from the genre's sensuality into outright gonzo, noticeable not surprisingly in a Dana DeArmond scene with lots of foot in mouth and big toe(s) in vagina action, or choking in Kim's own vignette opposite Ashley Fires. But overall it's worth watching merely to see top talent in fine form.
