At the cryogenics facility, a digital thermometer is seen displaying the temperature inside a tank containing a frozen customer. The display reads "77.0 °K". The kelvin is one of the seven base units in the International System of Units (SI), and as such, has no need for the degree sign (°) like the Celsius or the Fahrenheit units. A real display would thus simply read "77.0 K".
