The bit where Frank is being interviewed and accidentally confesses to running the sweat shops while ignorant to the fact his mic is on is a parody of the final reveal at the end of the HBO limited-docuseries, The Jinx. Here, a similar static shot of a conference room is shown with the overlapping voice audio of Robert Durst accidentally confessing to a murder while in the restroom, unaware his mic is still on.
